Life can be very difficult when your parents are old-fashioned and conservative people. High school student Jessica Jung has unfortunately had to put up with them her whole life. They would always tell her to dress in an appropriate way, one that is approved by the community they live in with its mainstream values and beliefs, to speak and act in a proper and polite manner, and have excellent results in every school subject in order to secure herself a spot in an elite university in the future. Jessica hates all the expectations people have of her and she is so fed up with the constant pressure that she is under. Thankfully, fate is generous enough to introduce her to Kim Taeyeon, the only person in this world she feels comfortable around and who understands her like no one else.
