Joshua Hong thinks he's got it all down pat - a rising star at Pyeonghan Hospital, saving lives, a ward at a time, his reputation as a prodigy doctor at twenty-five growing by day. He supposes you could call it greed, but the ends - which were healthy people - probably justify the means. Enter Seo Jisoo, 18, victim of severe abuse - his first ever patient who's teetering on the verge of death, that breaks him as he relearns, remembers the reason why he even became a doctor in the first place. (And Seungcheol is there for him when he breaks, to pick up the pieces, and tell him that it's alright).

It's guts, it's glory, and it's everything else in between.

you know, csi? bones? like the guy that dissects the body to find out the cause of death through autopsy? this is kind of what minghao does, but not really. it's what he's studying for but he's interning at a morgue now, that does go through that process but mostly focuses on the certification, identification of death + preparing the body for funerals and after, etc. // um also necromancy= bringing the dead back to life
