The sound of hands clapping filled the room and the cheers didn’t stop even after their performance was long over.  It was an overwhelming feeling.  They bowed and waved to the audience again and congratulated the newly weds once more.

As soon as they got back to their seats, he leaned down and whispered in her ear:

“Who’s gonna sing at our wedding, Mona?” he said with a cheeky smile.

“Our wedding?” she said looking at him with huge eyes.

 I’m hearing this right? She thought.

“Yeah, you know, one day I'll get married and you too and you and I will have to choose who… Oh! I have an idea. Shall we make an agreement? To sing at each other's weddings?” His eyes grew bigger at the sudden plan.

She felt her heart aching and she didn't know why...
