Author's Note: Apologies in advance for this possibly confusing (no, most definitely confusing) one shot. The idea hit me during work a couple of days ago and it would not leave. The end result is a bit different than what I originally envisioned, but I got to play around with some new themes and ideas so I feel energized! The EXO comeback is seriously ruining my emotions too, so I decided this fic would feature my two favourite members. Enough rambling for now. Chapter 1: Wow this was really really good, I loved everything about it. Especially the twist that she just loved the purity of Yixing's soul and not him, so even if he was about to return her feelings, it wasn't the same. Also it was so beautiful how Jongdae stayed by her side no matter what. And the ending, wow, I loved the thought, that perfection is basically overrated until you have each other. Great piece of writing, thank you for sharing it!

Chapter 1: WHEEZES
THIS WAS /SO/ SOSOSIOSOSOSOOSO BEAUTIFUL I HAVE NO WORDS
Honestly really truly this was gorgeously written and i loved and adored and ate up every single word ugh i can't even begin to express how /good/ this is
The writing, the characters, the emotion!!! The imagery (the comparison between love and obsession in the beginning with the red vs pink had me hooked)!
The reflections on the little broken parts of humanity UGH and the last sentence
/my/ soul has been purified by this honestly ty for writing this masterpiece
