Highmont is a thriving modern city, one of the centers of commerce of the country. And at the same time, it is one of the most dangerous places to live; tensions centuries old run deep, familial or otherwise, and assassination is an almost guaranteed end for anyone of any stature. Chanyeol comes from a family of such assassins, deceptively charming and inhumanly gifted with poisons and sleight of hand. He doesn't ask questions. He doesn't waste time. And he doesn't fail.
