Drop the Game
Description
A long, long time ago, the world used to be ruled by the supernatural and humans were at the bottom of the food chain. They were tossed into fighting pits for entertainment purposes, forced into manual labor and other services, and sometimes even hunted and harvested for food. However, after the humans managed to find a way to free themselves, the history books seem to have forgotten all of that. The supernatural world seems to have been completely wiped from existence, though no one knows how or why, and relegated into nothing but myths and legends, stuff of books and movies that aren't and were never real. Desperate for a chance to prove the world wrong, one reporter is determined to unearth evidence that the myths aren't just myths. And what's better evidence than interviewing someone who claims they had actually lived through and survived the fabled Revolution?
“Well, it all started because of a boy.”
“Isn't that how they all start?”

Foreword
Honestly I really shouldn't be starting this. Like at all. I have so many works in progress. But here I am, back in the clutches of my muse (thanks monster teasers)!!!!!!! So here's another Baekhyun fic to add to the library I already have smh. I'm really, really excited to write this the itch to write this has been bugging me for like a good two months and I finally gave in so hopefully I can write it out how I see it in my head!!
inspiration/shoutout to: Interview With The Vampire by Anne Rice and World War Z by Max Brooks, "supernatural fight club", the character baekhyun was supposed to play if the webcomic-to-movie Dokgo actually followed through (yeah I'm still bitter abt that movie never following through)
genre: angst, supernatural, fluff
length: >15 chapters hopefully
characters: Han Dasom (original character), Baekhyun, the reporter (the reader/2nd person pov), Exo
warnings: violence bc supernatural fight club/gladiator thing going on as well as a dystopian society, I'll trigger warn anything else
rating: pg-13 to R (i'm not sure yet?)
Last but not least, this is an entry to the contest run by YifanForever and headinthebooks101 and since it's due on August 31st, I'm praying I finish this by then because of the deadline!! (pray with me lol) I missed that train a long time ago lol, but I'm still using the prompts so:
23. “You care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it.” – Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix
Category: Hades - Dwelling his life in the underworld, the Greek god Hades relished in the fear and despair of the souls that entered his realm after death. That is why his category is suited for stories that revolve around horror, dark, and/or angst. Character death is included as an option in this package deal.
