Kyungsoo sat on the swings of his local playground, tears streaming down his face from huge, owl like eyes. This was beginning to be a regular for the small 9 year old boy. A group of boys from his schools had been bullying him for the past few weeks. They keep making fun of his eyes, saying they were to big for his face, calling him a 'freak' and a 'owl'. Kyungsoo had always been insecure when it came to his eyes. He knew that they were abnormally large but that didn't mean that the poor boy deserved to be bullied. But the teasing didn't stop at his eyes. His height was also a popular teasing subject. He was the shortest one in his grade, even the girls towered over him.

Jongin was making his way back home from his soccer practices when he heard slightly muffled crys coming from the direction of where he was heading. Speeding up his pace slightly, his tiny eyes darted across the playground looking for the source of the noise. He spotted a small child hunched up into a ball on one of the swings. He slowed his pace and timidly made his way over to the crying child. He quietly sat down his soccer gear and crouched down to be eye level with the boy he recognized as Kyungsoo, a boy in a grade above him.
"Are you ok?" He asked softly as not to frighten the boy. Kyungsoo shook his head and a muffled 'leave me alone' was heard. Jongin gently punt his hamd on the others shoulder.
"You can tell me. I won't laugh, I promise." He said quietly. Kyungsoo wiped his tears with the back of his tiny little hand and looked up at Jongin with watery eyes. Jongin felt his heart shatter at the pout on the others face, and the tears that still streamed out his of eyes despite the smallers attempt at trying to make them stop.
"P-promise?" Kyungsoo asked, his voice cracking slightly. Jongin simply nodded and waited for the other to speak.
"P-people have b-been making fun o-of m-me because I h-have really bi-big eyes, they-they say I look l-like a fr-freak! And th-they also won't st-stop teasing me about m-my height! The-their s-so mean to me!" Kyungsoo's tears were coming out much faster now as the boy sobbed in his little hands. Jongin felt his heart break even more. Sure the boys eyes were larger than most but Jongin thought it was cute. And as for the boys height, Jongin couldn't help but find that adorable as well. He reached up and slowly peeled Kyungsoo's hands away from his face. Taking a moment to truly get a good look at his eyes. They were big pools of dark brown, almost black, and they had a shine to them that was brighter than any start Jongin had ever seen.
"I-I think your eyes are really pretty. And as for your height I think it just makes you look even more adorable." Jongin admitted while looking down at his feet, a deep blush creeping up his neck. Kyungsoo blushed a light pink in return as well.
"D-do really mean that?" Kyungsoo asked in fear that was another cruel joke. Jongin shook his head yes and looked into the boys eyes, blushing even more.
"I-I think your really pretty Kyungsoo." Jongin confessed, his blush deepening. Kyungsoo's eyes got bigger and it was his turn to look at his feet and blush. Jongin smiled at how cute his hyung was being. He gently leaned up and placed a gentle kiss on the corner of Kyungsoo's big heart shaped lips. It took by surprise and he looked up at Jongin, face even redder, if possible. Jongin scratched the back of his head before grabbing his gear and standing up.
"I uh I have to go.  My mommy is probably worried about me, but uh would you uh like to come over tomorrow? We could play if you want" Jongin shuffled his feet nervously as waited for the boys response. Kyungsoo smiled brightly and shook his head.
"Sure, that sounds fun."
Jongin and Kyungsoo shared shy glances before Jongin told him good bye once more and stole another kiss from the blushing boys cheek before heading off to his house, leaving Kyungsoo holding his reddened cheek, anticipating the next day.
