”Do.... Do you promise never to love another man...?” Taemin's voice was barely to be heard as he looked up into the teary eyes of his lover, the man he had spent the past 53 years with. The younger looking male was clinging to the older's hand with such force that he was scared of breaking the hand, but he couldn't get himself to at least loosen his grip a bit. Not being able to speak, he just gave a short nod of his head, earning a weak laugh from the dying man's lips. ”You've never changed, Jongin.... Please promise me that you never will...” slowly, Taemin reached up to touch Jongin's cheek, his touch being as gentle as always as his thumb gently the tear stained cheek. Jongin choked on a sob he tried to hold back, still holding onto his lover's other hand as he watched how the other's eyes slowly slipped closed for the last time. ”I love... you Jongin...” was the last words to pass the old male's lips before his longues stopped working and heart stopped beating, his worn out body being the only thing left as his soul had passed on to it's next destination. ”I love you too...” Jongin managed to force through his lips as he looked at his now dead partner, keeping his eyes on the peaceful face of the other as silent minutes passed by. ”And I promise... To come find you again...” he whispered in a shaky and sorrowfilled voice, as he leaned in to seal his promise with one final kiss to Taemin's cheek.
