Jungkook seated himself a few inches away from yoonmi, he could not give eye contact nor could yoonmi handle how close they were. She could smell a whiff of his flowery scented colonge— she honestly loved the smell and was making a mental note to ask her brother of what cologne jungkook uses— Rather than sharp muscular scents that most men prefer, he chose to wore more to a soft fragrance which she honestly prefer rather than the former “ l-lend me your hand ” Jungkook cleared his throat, embarrassed at the fact that he had unintentionally stuttered. His eyes were fixed on her bandaged hand upon seeing that, yoonmi followed his gaze down to her unprofessionaly done white bandage that was wrapped loosely around her right hand Seeing him taking out some medicine as well as a gauze , she hesitantly lend him her hand after understanding his intention to help her with her hand and to do that he obviously is in need for her hand. Yoonmi had goosebumps once her hand made contact with his warm ones, they were big enough to cover her small hands and his hands were undeniably beautiful . Due to her lack of experience— as well as her first time to hold an idol's hand— she had gotten shy; her cheeks heated up leaving a faint pink shade on the apples of her cheeks, knowing herself, she was pretty sure will get much more noticeable. “ how . . Did you hurt it? ” Jungkook asked, his head was dipped down to focus solely on her hand— and also due to the fact that he did not want to give eye contact— he carefully took off her gauze and was surprised at the weird scar she had on her palm. He uncontiously glazed his finger softly on the scar, trailing his index finger on the dark lines on her palm. the action made yoonmi flinch and jungkook looked up in surprise; his eyes bulging out. That was their first eye contact since she arrived The stared at each other for a few seconds, silence burrying them alive as noone intended a single movement. Jungkook was the first to look away, he once more dip his head down— if not lower actually— and open some kind of a bottle and a plastic full of cotton swabs Yoonmi cleared , feeling the tension slowly suffocating her “ i accidentally pressed my palm on broken glass ” She could see jungkook nod as he solely focus on her hand, he uses very subtle movements as he glazed the cotton swab drenched with somekind of liquid over her scarred palm. “ you know, we danced together before ” he started, before pausing to screw the lid on the bottle securely
