Our Journey Begins Here
Description
In life, there are different courses that lead us to certain destinies. Course A could lead us to success and happiness while course B could lead us through pain, disappointment, and a whole lot of heartache. For most of my life, I blindly followed course B's journey. I was a single parent of two with a psycho ex-boyfriend as the father. I was accustomed to believing that there was no such thing as hope.
That was until my perfect stranger, Choi Minho, walked into my life. Though it was a gradual change, my course of life went from course B to course A. He showed me that there was a such thing as hope. He's like a father to my kids, my parents and friends love him, and most importantly, so do I.
Now, we have a result of our love. Yes, I'm pregnant again, but this time it's different. I'm not some knocked-up teen that failed to use protection. This baby was conceived willingly and I am so excited for it to get here.
Of course, life can never be peaches and cream. With a life like mine, it can't be expected. However, with my friends, family, and dorky husband, I can get through anything.
This is the story of our journey.
Foreword
Hey everyone! This is a sequel to my previous story My Perfect Stranger. If you haven't done so, please read the first story. It'll make sense as this story progresses.
Here's a recap on some of the main characters:
Choi KIbum (27):
Key is a costume designer and stylist for the top companies that call upon him to design outfits for their boy groups and girl groups. However, due to his pregnancy, he was allowed to work from home and send in sketches of designs. He has two kids from a previous relationship with Kim Jonghyun (their relationship is covered in My Perfect Stranger). Together they have Taemin, now an 11 year old, and Jongin, now a 10 year old. Key is married to Choi Minho.
Choi Minho (26):
Minho is the breakout star of Korea's most elite soccer team. Though he has a secure job, he wants to become a sports commentator to better support his family. He treats Key's kids as if they're his own. Now that he's officially becoming a father himself, he vows to go above and beyond to protect his family even more than he already has.
Kim Jonghyun (28):
Jonghyun has recently become Korea's top singer and hearthrob due to his emotional songs that were usually written as he thought of Kibum. After spending some time in jail, he was able to reflect on his actions that caused Kibum a lot of heartache. Now a changed man, he has kept his promise to not bother Kibum unless it involved the kids. He's a proud father of his two sons and would do literally anything for them, even if it meant that he had to let go of his unhealthy relationship with Kibum. Now, he just focuses on his music. Though Kibum wishes for him to find love, Jonghyun knows that he'll never be able to love anyone as he did Kibum.
