Description

As part of his preparations for his next mission, Yoo Shi Jin sits down to write his first letter to Kang Mo Yeon.

Foreword

In Episode 15 of "Descendants of the Sun," Kang Mo Yeon receives the news that Yoo Shi Jin has died during his mission and reads the letter he left for her.  The first time I watched the episode, when she got to the end of the letter where he asked her to not remember him for too long, my heart shattered.  I still get emotional whenever I rewatch that scene.  Which is why, for my third fanfic, I thought I'd expore what thoughts might have been running through Yoo Shi Jin's head as he wrote the letter.  I hope you'll enjoy the story; do let me know what you think!

Chapter 1: Even after a year the drama concluded, reading this makes me emotional. The scenes of this episode kept running through my mind as I read this. Authornim, you expressed the emotions very well!

Chapter 1: This one's a tearjerker. Ugh. I've always thought "How Long Will I Love You" is a beautiful song, and then it played in the drama... yeah, I cried, sang along, cried again. Sigh. Thank you for writing this fic; it conveys the emotion that Shi Jin must have felt writing that letter so well.

Chapter 1: Love this. SO emotionally and beautifully written. I could imagine Capt Yoo having this thought as he wrote that will. It is feeling in the blanks of the drama. Please write more.. you are a great writer

Chapter 1: i just found out that you also wrote this, ugh you made me cry with this story. Sijin's emotion while writing a letter...him doubting and at the same time was overwhelmed waaah i can feel him waah his love for Moyeon I CAN FEEL IT he mihjtbbe selfish not wanting to let go of Moyeon but he's so sweet! I love his selfishness

Chapter 1: Beautifully written... And i just couldnt help myself from crying. It was indeed touching my heart. He has all the right to ask her to keep him in her mind, but instead he is not being selfish, for her own sake. Ahhh....u make me realize this just now.
