i think this managed to explain and answer my questions in the prequel... like how it was their group of friends knew each other, have been wanting to introduce them to each other but never found a chance... destiny just made its way for KrisHo to meet then

also the suspicious recognition of Jun's father to the name Wu Yifan was he introduced himself 2 years ago... so that's why huh... their parents go way back, and Jun's father was surely hurt by the betrayal from his best friend and fiance, a woman he loved dearly... I just think that if Jun's mom healed the wounds/embarrassment already, why does he still hold such grudge against the kin? and Xi Zhao's dead already... i know he was really hurt back then, but don't you want your son to be happy???

barring KrisHo from seeing each other again triggered the eloping tho... it is lovely, how they were sure of what they feel for each other that Jun said yes when Yifan asked him to run away... and what's even more beautiful was Jun explaining how Yifan didn't just make him happy, rather, he tells Luhan that it is Yifan who makes him feel all other emotions since a love story isn't exactly a fairy tale... the couple has been thru a lot, and them choosing to be together despite having to be accustomed to a life completely different from the life of luxury they're used to, that's how deep their love is for each other and how much their relationship grew during the time they were together

it's irritating tho, how his father thinks the year together was a privilege he gave Jun??? like "you're one year is up end this little game blah blah" and how he used Sehun, and Jun's promise to his sister to lure Jun into coming back... whatever it was, im sure it wasn't Jun's fault, but his father says that it is his fault and the guilt has eaten him up...
