Chapter 5.

Night Time...

*Jonghyun's POV*
"Isn't there anything interesting in this house? I walked around many times but see nothing so special. oooo! There's a guitar there! Let's play a song. Hmm, what song should it be? "Life" ? " I mumbled to myself.

I sighed. If only I never met that old woman, I probably would be performing right now!  I seemed to see a guy earlier on that supposed to debut with me. It's just that, I forgot his name. What is his name? Forget it. 

Let's just sing.



*Gyuri's POV*
I was walking towards my room with a tray of cookies and milk when I heard someone singing. 

When I get on my knees and cry before the world
When my feet stop moving inside the storm
If you alone are standing
Whatever pain and suffering, I'll withstand it all
If only you are with me in my life.

"Who is that? That person has a beautiful voice but wait. Isn't that voice coming from my room?" I mumbled to myself. I walked briskly towards my room and opened the door. Jonghyun was playing a song on the guitar while singing.

"You can sing?" I asked him. He looked at me with his shocked expression. 

"Oh, no I can't. That was a recorder." he joked. 

"That wasn't funny. Now, explain to me what's going on." I said as I ate the cookies. It felt as if I'm asking a storyteller to tell me fairytale stories. Sigh. 

"Before that, why don't we start with a hug first?" he winked. 

"YAH!"

"What? You promised me already! If you don't, tomorrow's going to be a disaster for you." 

I sighed. I went towards him and shut my eyes. I opened my arms wide and gave him a hug. I wanted to let go of the hug but this guy is too strong. "Yahyahyah, let me go now." I yelled at him. 

He finally let go of me and sat down. 

*Jonghyun's POV* 
That hug was awesome but I felt as if electricity was flowing through when I hugged her. Why? I looked at her. She looks really curious how I ended up here. 

"I won't really explain much about the past. Just know that the ring, the lady won't give it to you for nothing. Ask me for help if you ever need one. That's probably one of the reasons why I'm here."

"Help? When I needed the help earlier on, didn't you ask for something in return?"

"Well, I'm different from others. Of course I want something in return. I don't do things for free you know. Like they say, 'Nothing comes free in this world.'" I stucked out my tongue playfully. She pouted. How adorable. 

"Then tell me what can you do?"

"Me? I can do whatever a real human can. I can make things appear, fly ......." I continued to talk and talk about what can I do. 

"That's a lot. Then why am I the only one who can see you?" 

"That? All because you have that ring. Actually, I can make myself appear as a human you know. It's just that I never liked being a human." She made the 'o' expression. 

*Gyuri's POV*
Is that all? HAH, you're so screwed if you're going to be with me. I grinned. 

"Park Gyuri, don't forget that I can read what's on your mind. More like you're going to be screwed being with me." he smirked. Sigh, this is not fun! 

"Fine, I'm going to sleep. GOODNIGHT." I turned off the light and pulled the blanket and covered my whole body. I don't feel like seeing him. 

*Jonghyun's POV*
I went downstairs. Her house has a big swimming pool. Man, she's rich. I sat down on the seat there and thought about that old lady. I remembered what actually happened that day. Let's just talk about the part when she gave me to Gyuri. 

Flashback
I was happily watching tv when someone knocked on the door. "Who could it be? I thought only the old lady knew my 'house' ? She usually just make herself appear anywhere to shock me." I mumbled to myself.  I made a clicking sound using my tongue and the tv automatically off by itself. I walked slowly to the door and looked through the little hole and saw no one outside. I turned around and saw the old lady. That, didn't shocked me. Pfft. 

"Jonghyun, have you been behaving these days while I was away?" she asked. I scoffed. 

"You locked me inside this house, wait, this isn't even a house. I don't even know where I am and there's nothing here except the tv. What can I do?" 

"At least I gave you some powers."

"Powers? So what if I can fly, do magic or whatever? I can't even fly in this house right? Th-" I was cut off. 

"Are you going to keep on complaining? If so, then let's forget about sending you back to Earth." My eyes widened at the word 'Earth'.

"REALLY? YOU'RE SENDING ME BACK TO EARTH? HECK YES"

"Yeah but don't get too happy yet."

"Why?"

"I won't send you back to SM Entertainment where you belonged previously but, I'm going to give you to someone on Earth. Whoever who I find kind, will be your owner."

"WHAT? What about my singing career? What's this owner thingy? Does it mean I won't be able to be a singer at all? You kept me with you for like a few years according to your calender and not Earth's."

" You can. Only if you manage to do something that I have in mind. I won't tell you what it is. When time goes by, you'll know what I mean."

"Fine, anything! So long as I can get out of this place."

"Oh by the way, you mustn't fall in love. If you do, the person whom you liked, won't be able to touch you. As in, if I were a human, the person who found you, I can touch you. But if you were to fall in love with me, your body will gradually become weak and that person can't touch you at all. Worst thing that could ever happen, the person you love, will be in danger. So, be careful."

"Fine, as if I will fall in love. If the person who found me is a guy, are you expecting me to be a gay? lolol."
