"You sure smoking is allowed in this school?"

"Fancy meeting you here," she breathes out and watches as the whisps of smoke whirl in the air and disappear, "Jung Jaehyun, ever the careful president's son. Even if it's the last day of school, you're not gonna let me get away with a bit of fun?" 

She laughs lightly and goes back to gazing at the deep blue sky, watching as the dotted jewels of stars glisten and glow. She thinks they're absolutely fascinating, like glitter that's been spilled all over a canvas. Imperfectly spread, but beautiful all the same.

Little does she expect a hand to pull the cigarette from , and she turns around, raising an eyebrow in question. 

"Hey, what're you-"

She stops mid-sentence as he puts the cigarette in his own mouth and breathes in the nicotine. Her eyes travel down to the cigarette that lies between his lips and she realises she's never actually noticed how soft they were. 

He opens his mouth and again, she admires how the smoke flows so smoothly upwards. 

"It's bad for your health," he whispers, leaning in close to her face so that their noses are neaarly touching.

Her cheeks to feel hot and she breathes in his musky scent. Her heart pummels in her chest as she tries to keep her cool. 

Her eyes travel back down to his lips, just a little more and-

He slips the cigarette back into and she leans back onto the rails of the balcony, her eyes trailing over his face. She always knew he ws handsome, but up close he was just...beautiful.

She clears , slightly embarrassed. 

"So, not exactly a good boy are you? You're good at deceiving, Jung Jaehyun."

He takes another cigarette from his pocket and lights it, leaning over the edge next to her. He watches as her eyes are illuminted by the city lights below, enchanted by her.

"You like the lights that much, huh?"

She runs a hand through her tresses and he watches as they cascade down her back like waterfalls. His eyes move towards her , and he silently admires how the sparkling black material clings to her curves perfectly. She reminds him of the night sky - breathtaking. 

"I think they're pretty."

Just like you he thinks, appreciating the scent of roses that surrounds her.

"What would they think of you if they saw you here? With me? Alone?" she laughs lightly, but he detects a sad bitterness in her voice.

He hesitates but shrugs lightly, "I don't know. Don't care to be honest."

He throws the remains of his cigarette onto the ground and steps on it lightly.

"I should go. Don't stay out too long,"

She suddenly wishes she could ask him to stay, but simply nods, listening to his footsteps fading.

"Oh, and Park?"

He suddenly stops and she turns around.

"Yeah?"

"You look beautiful."

And she thinks her heart just may have skipped a beat.
