INTRO

A city corrupted beyond repair, came to the point where it could not exist without underground organizations guiding and controlling everything that went on. Controlling the flow of finances, using the officials as pawns and running a network of underground deals just touch on the amount of wrongdoings that go on under the public's eye. Raging within Seoul for years, many gangs fought in the hopes of being number one, but after years of long wars and endless blood spilling, four powerful mafia’s came out victorious and took control over the corrupted Seoul. The Spades, The Diamonds, The Hearts and The Clubs.

Upon acceptance into one of the mafia's, a card is given. Describing the role, duties and responsibilities one must take on; this card becomes your identity, name and who you are once you step foot into the underground world.

Each of the mafias have specific fields of operation to evade unnecessary conflicts, fights and deaths between the rival gangs. Now no longer in war with each other, they may, or may not work together building themselves stronger and more threatening than ever before. But by no means does this mean they’re friends. Some members might form bonds with rival mafia members and some might want to eradicate them at all costs. With missions given by their leaders, the gangs are stabilizing their place and hierarchy within the city, as well as showing the police that they can try as hard as they want, but they will never come out on top.

Full of fierce determination, Seoul’s police department fight with everything they have on a daily basis, with the hopes to bring back safety and order to Seoul. But, with their hands full, stress weighing their minds, who knows, how many of them got already corrupted and swayed by the dark tricks and wealth of the Mafia.

Now the only thing to do is choose your side.

RULES AND HOW TO JOIN

001 // 1st or 3rd point of view, we are a literate RP, please do not use acronyms or text lingo in groups.

002 // Keep OOC posts in the OOC group or PM, otherwise use brackets to separate it from your IC posts.

003 // 2 week inactivity kickout, be active 4 times in a week. If you are going on a hiatus, please inform an admin. (Active means posting in groups or walls).

004 // A Hiatus can only last 2 weeks, anything longer then that is not permitted. Every hiatus must be informed to an admin. If you need to leave for longer, you must leave the RP and can reapply later.

005 // Character changes can be made after 10 days and it must be accepted by An Admin. Each member is allowed 3 character changes, so choose wisely.

006 // You are limited to two accounts, you can request a second account after 2 weeks.

007 // Keep OOC drama to a minimum, roleplay drama is acceptable as long as it is accepted by all involved sides.

008 // Do not talk about other roleplays groups.

009 // No face chasing or bias chasing, let things happen naturally. PASSWORD - What colour is the suit you are applying under; red, black, N/a?

010 // Respect all admins and members equally. You are not allowed to add or confirm any members of the roleplay until the Dealer announces members, don't add or confirm people outside of the Roleplay.

MAFIAS AND POSITIONS

THE SPADES

Step behind the black curtain and join the ranks of The Spades; the strongest, most feared and well known Mafia in all of Seoul. Only those with top notch skills and confidence are accepted by the King of Spades. Based out of an old Opera Theatre, the mafia has made the decrepit worn down building their central hub to all their illegal on goings. From drug deals and robberies to es, they cover everything, but The Spades are best known for their major contributions to the Black Market. Using the old Opera Theatre, the stage as their spotlight, auctions are held to sell black market items, that range from stolen artwork to people. Where the world’s rules don’t apply only the word of The King matters. Come join the inner workings of the underground world.

THE DIAMONDS

The most wealthy mafia out of the four. The reason behind it is very simple - Zion Finance Inc. A banking company with The CEO  in charge; a wealthy, influential and powerful man, who happens to be The King of Diamonds. Using the banking company, The King made it possible to turn illegally earned money from drug dealings, black market and other illegal activities, legal by transferring it from account to account until the system loses track of it. Aside from doing this for their own Mafia, The Diamonds provide this favor for the other three mafias, but of course, it comes at a price. Thanks to this, The Diamonds have extremely high earnings, making there no need for robbing or any other kinds of money related crimes.

THE HEARTS

, drugs and scandal. Three things that The Hearts live off of. With a ring of brothels, strip clubs and other ual endeavors, The King of Hearts controls all trades. With every orchestrated plan revolving around the pleasure of others, The Hearts are masters of seduction and pleasing others. Their charismatic attitudes and behavior makes it easy to win deals, trick others and get out of dangerous situations without the use of violence, that is, if they wish.

THE CLUBS

Anyone in all of Asia who works with illegal drugs, whether it is the production of them or the selling, all know of The Clubs; a mafia with an extensive and rich history in this field. The Clubs concentrated all their efforts into the specialty for so long, that they became the largest manufacturer and contractor of drugs in Asia. Their ‘business’ is continually growing and spreading, reaching further and further across the globe. Providing all types of high quality drugs and narcotics, The Clubs sell to anyone who is able to pay. However, if unable to pay the amount or on time; facing terrible consequences resulting in extreme pain is to be expected.

POSITIONS

KING: As head of the mafia, you are required to plan and guide your underlings through missions. If something goes wrong, you must think quick and protect your Mafia. This is an around the clock position as lives are in your hands.

QUEEN: With only the King above you, you are his right hand man. Working with him step by step to ensure all aspects of the Mafia run smoothly. When a mission is set you keep the members on track, watching from behind the scenes, alerting them if something changes or there’s an unsuspected danger.

JACK: You do not fear death, whether it’s your life or someone else's. Death is your closest friend, and murder doesn’t bother you. This is not a position for the faint hearted. You will be required to interrogate any hostages brought in and are free to use any method you wish to collect and force information out of the prisoner. When all else fails; you will end the subject’s life in any way you see fit.

TEN: Unlike Jack and Nine, you root for life and healing. You care for the injured, nursing our injured brethren back to life. The occasional victim may require your attention, only if they are too injured to give up information.

NINE: The all-important duty of taking the heat off the mafia lies in your hands. It is your job to place the blame and make it seem as though an innocent bystander committed the crime in question – or to even frame the enemy in hopes of putting them behind bars. The ability to plant evidence without leaving a trail is crucial to success in your line of work.

EIGHT: Having immense knowledge and understanding of computers, you can hack into any system. You shut down cameras, open doors and bypass security to help enable a successful mission.

SEVEN: A crucial role in receiving funds for the mafias. From robbing banks, to art galleries you must be stealthy with quick reflexes. Caution and attention to detail can be the difference to success or fail in their missions.

SIX: Selling drugs, both legal and illegal, you have access to a whole line of contacts that can provide information for the mafia as well as the bonus of making cash.

FIVE: With a fascination for weapons, you must equip and bring top notch arms and explosives to a mission. Using them to benefit the on going goal, or just causing a ruckus on the streets, using any weapon imaginable.

FOUR: Trained in any type of fighting whether it be boxing, martial arts or combat training you must keep up on your physical strength and endurance to be ready to fight off any enemy that comes your way. It also will be required for you to go out and rough up specific targets.

THREE: Through the use of your ual charms, you will be required to gather information, plant bugs and drug targets. Flirting, talking up, romancing and even are must have skills to pull of this role.

TWO: As a loyal and reliable man, Two is someone the Mafia can rely on at all times. In his hands lie the protection of the most important members of the Mafias. He's responsible for the safety of the King at all times as well as protecting fellow mafia members while out on a mission.

ACE: One thing is your goal, to kill without being caught. Upon receiving orders to kill, it’s up to you to decide where and how the person’s life will end.

JOKER: With you anything and everything goes, the King needs a robber, you’ll be it. We need an extra street fighter? You’ll be there. Need extra help fixing the wounded? You’ll cover it.

Civilians AND occupations

THE CIVILIANS

Like any inhabited city, there are many ordinary everyday citizens, living day to day working, traveling, meeting up with others - living the busy Seoul lifestyle. Some are government officials, doctors, police officers, teachers, some even work in offices or take on part time jobs. Seoul is filled with adults or students each a citizen who contributes to the city's everyday life. However, only a few them know about the secretive world of the mafias or even the identities of these criminals. And for those who do share the knowledge of the underground world should be cautious. And for those that try to oppose the Mafias, they should be even more careful.

Occupations

You are free to choose any occupation you wish as long as it is not of criminal nature. You may also choose to be a student. the choice is yours.
