Description
It’s been a couple years since Kim Jongin, practically Prince of Korea, disappeared from Earth’s face. No witnesses saw him ever again and no one informed his parents that the young man was running with Vampires now. Having never wished for immortality in all of his life, Jongin finds himself in a great joke of faith when Wu Yifan, his father-in-law, decides he should be the chosen one. Jongin wouldn’t have minded had his Maker not been so cold-hearted—with all of the word’s meanings.
And on top of everything, Japanese are slowly making their way onto Korean grounds.
Now, the only thing Jongin is one hundred percent sure about is; the secret to wining the war is a peace treaty between the vampire Society and their ever hatred enemies, Mages.
But before anything, he has to find the reason this whole distrust began, only to stumble upon a series of well-hidden lies.

In case you need a reference, here’s some notes to help you out.
Geographic Notes:
Size and location of Seoul, Korea, Japan and Tokyo differ a lot compared to what and where they actually are. Seoul is on the Eastern part of Korea (much like Suwon) and Japan and Korea are much closer on the map. China is referred to as “Overseas” in this story and in fact, Korea and China are parted by a big river named Oasis.
Lifestyle Notes:
Imagine 1800's and on. Fancy dresses, corsets, great fortunes and all. Rest about that time are mentioned in the story.
Terminology:
Maker
The vampire who turned another human
New-born
The human who was turned into a vampire but has not lived past 50 years of undead life
Leader
A vampire who has been given an area (most commonly a city/village) to control. They are placed by the country’s Governors themselves.
Society
Basically the society that’s only for vampires, bearing Rules and Regulations on its own.
Governor
A vampire of great status meant to control a country and its vampire population. Each country has different numbers of Governors.
Society of the Undead
This is a society that contains every single mythical kind known. Usually used in an easy way to address all of supernatural.

To be frank, this story is mostly about Jongin's first crappy years of immortal life. Kyungsoo appears after a couple chapters (in the fourth chapter). Don't expect too much fluff and romance, though. The main genres are Angst and Drama, the whole story is dark af. Read at your own discretion because it'll probably make you cry like a baby and leave you hating half of the characters.
