Bae Joohyun or well known as Irene, the leader of Red Velvet, is a very shy and the most awkward person alive. She doesn't really like to talk to strangers. Not that she doesn't want to but she can't. Her mind wants to approach others first but her body doesn't allow her to. She is actually a very warm and caring person, but her image makes her looks so hard to approach. 

Kim Taehyung on the other hand, is a very outgoing person and dubbed as the social butterfly of Bangtan Boys. He is very cheerful and such a prankster. Both Irene and Taehyung came from Daegu. Their grandmothers are friends. But that doesn't automatically make Taehyung and Irene be friends. Instead, Irene hates him so much as he is very childish and likes to sister. 

And then she meets Kim Sunggyu. He is totally different from Taehyung. Sunggyu is very mature and so considerate towards other. Irene likes it when he's around. Sunggyu is actually the very first person who changes Irene to be more open. 

Now that Irene become closer to both Sunggyu and Taehyung, she just can't decide whether her feelings for them are simply affection towards friends or...it's something kinda crazy.
