"Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! I love you my nini bear. Happy birthday to you"
Kyungsoo softly sings at her husband.

Jongin's eyes were still closed but the wife knows that he's not sleeping anymore.

"Get up now!  I made waffles! And seaweed soup ofcourse" She said.

"Sleepy" he mumbled as he wrapped his arms around his wife's body.

"Aren't you coming with me at the clinic?" She asked.

"Is it today?" He asked.

"But if you're too tired it's ok. You can sleep more" the pregnant wife said.

"Just give me 5mins babe. I'll be up" Jongin mumbled with his sleepy voice.

"You've been busy this past few days" Kyungsoo caressed her husband face.
"You look tired. Are you sure everything in the restaurant is doing fine?"

"Busy!lots of customers! But doing great!" He said.

"Such a hardworking appa" Kyungsoo smiled as she kissed his cheeks.





"From our last visit up to now, Asher really do looks like you." Kyungsoo held out their latest copy of the 4d sonogram.

They're walking towards their car to go home.
 Kyungsoo is on her 7th month

Just 2 more to go and they will finally see Asher.


"Really? Wow, is that how much you love me?" Jongin .

Kyungsoo pouted.

"But I love you more than you love me" He said again so she won't be upset.

"I'm surely having another Nini bear, since he looks like you" Kyungsoo said.

"Another chicken mania, a sleepy bear, and a soon to be handsome chef. Wow how did you get a copy of me?" He chuckled.

"Eyyy your so conceited, glad it's your  birthday today or i'll bite you" kyungsoo frowned

"Aren't you done with your cravings and your unusual habit? Why do you still love biting me?" He pouted aswell.

"Ohhh I just love too." She grinned.
"Com'on now, Eomma called and she prepared something for you and Sehun"

(2 months after)


On the midst of the preparation for Sehun and Luhan's wedding.

Kyungsoo felt that it's time.
She was helping Luhan on picking the flowers for her spring themed wedding when she felt the sudden sharp pain on her lower back.

"Luhan unnie!" She called.

"Are you ok?" Luhan look at her with worry.

"I think i'm on my early labor now."

"What?!" Luhan shrieked.
"Wait did the water bag broke already?

"Not yet, but I can feel the contraction already."
Kyungsoo said though in pain she tried to smile.

"Omygosh! Let me call Jongin!" Luhan said. She tried not to panicked.





Kyungsoo's been walking around the hospital's lobby for an hour.

Her water bag broke the moment she and Jongin step inside the emergency room.

"Breath Baby!" Jongin was holding on to her.
"Is it even more painful now?" He asked.

Kyungsoo just nodded.

"Do you want to lie down?" Jongin asked again.
The pain is visible in her face yet he can't do anything to ease it.

All he can do is to be with her, talk to her, so she can cope with the pain

"It hurts Nini" she cried.

"I'm sorry!" He hugged her.
"I'm sorry! But it will be alright, ok? I'm here. And we will see asher very very soon."




"10cm dilated" the doctor said.

Kyungsoo is silently crying as she lie down on that hospital bed

The contraction is more frequent now.
Too much pain and she can't take it.

She wanted to shout..
to give up...
She's tired...
 

But hearing the soft whispers of encouragement from Jongin, who has been with her from that long painful labor, had give  her the courage to continue.

"They are outside waiting for us ok? So you can do it!" Jongin said as he wipes her tears.

She closed her eyes and prayed that she will have the strength.

They're going to see Asher soon and that fueled her will to not give up.


It will be worth it.


Then there's that sudden urged to push something out of her body.

"Finally! Are you ready to push Kyungsoo?" The doctor asked with a smile.


She can't answer with words but she squeezed Jongin's hand tightly as a Yes.

"She is" Jongin smiled.


 

"I'm scared!" Luhan whispered.

Sehun was hugging her from the back.

Their parents, including their Uncle Chanyeol and Auntie Baek, were waiting outside the delivery room.

"She will be fine. Kyungsoo noona is strong."

Sehun assured his fiancee.

"Will I be able to do it too?" Luhan asked again

"Ofcourse you will! And I'm always here to stay beside you. Don't worry" Sehun smiled.


A  shrieked of pain from Kyungsoo was heard by everyone.

Then it was followed by a loud cry.

Finally!!

Asher!

 

"He's a Wu" Yifan grinned.

Chanyeol frowned because of that.

"We can't doubt that Yeollie, he's an exact replica of Nini" Baekhee agreed.

Everyone laughed when Chanyeol whined.
But he still loves his grandson so much, anyway.


The new father is so in love with his son that he can't take his eyes off on baby Asher.

"He's so small, and cute, and handsome" Jongin muttered.

"Yes he is" Kyungsoo grinned as she give Asher a soft kiss in his head.
The little bear is wrapped in a baby  blue  blanket and sleeping soundly on his mother's arms.

"We should leave now." Junhee said.
"You take a rest Kyungie ok?"

"Yes, eomma" kyungsoo nodded at her mother-in-law.

"You did a good job" her mother, Baekhee, tearfully, hugged her.






"Welcome home baby Asher"

That's what it says on the banner plastered on their living room.

Everyone is there to welcome Baby Asher.

They had stayed in the hospital for 2 days before the doctor decided that Asher is ready to go home.


The sleeping little bear squirmed on his mother's arms from the sudden noise. But he didn't woke up, he instead snuggled closer for warmth.

"I wanna see him" Sophie whined.

"It's your fault we didn't get to see him in the hospital" Daeul said.

"Well it's your fault you have  to used that old car" sophie frowned.

"Yahh!" Sehun scolded them.

"They're cute" Luhan grinned.
"You're going to be partners in our wedding"

"No way!" Sophie said.

Kyungsoo chuckled at them before looking at his baby boy.

"You've got so many people that really loves you, little bear. We have a big family" she said.

"Welcome home Asher" Jongin whispered as he backhug his wife.


On his sleep, Baby asher's lips formed a smile.
