“Do you think Chanyeol sunbaenim has a girlfriend?” A girl sitting in the same row as Kris asks her friend while the two girls get ready for lunch. The blonde man raises his head, groaning from the strange way he had placed his head before falling asleep.

“I hope he doesn’t,” her friend answers with a dreamy look but it’s soon replaced with a pout, “but I think he does. I mean, he’s perfect so I don’t think he has trouble getting girls.”

“You think so too? You know what I heard?” The two girls hunch over like they are about to share a secret, unfortunately, their voices are still too loud for Kris to miss. “He had a hickey on his neck that he tried to hide but one of the guys from class 3-B walked in on him while he was changing for gym.”

Her friend gasps and pulls away like the words had burned her poor dreams. They probably did and Kris can’t help the smirk pulling on his lips.

“No!”

“Right?”

“But who’s good enough to be Chanyeol sunbaenim’s girlfriend?”

A frown replaces the growing smirk as Kris sits back and watches the two girls finally make their exit. He sighs and looks down at his phone. He still has ten more minutes before Chanyeol is free from assisting his homeroom teacher, he was a class representative on top of the Student Government President. Park Chanyeol was a busy body and Kris couldn’t complain.

“Kris,” Sehun’s calls out from the hallway, head poking in to check the room, “did Jongin leave?”

Kris shrugs as the lanky boy walks into the room to seat himself on Jongin’s desk.

“I fell asleep halfway through class, I think he’s in the canteen.”

Sehun nods and leans back, body propped up by his arms, legs stretched out. He studies his friend for a moment before speaking again.

“Is something wrong? Is it Chanyeol hyung again?”

Kris checks the time again and decides to just wait for the older man at their meeting place. He briskly walks away from his friend who is still waiting for a response. Kris glances back as he steps into the hallway with a gentle smile.
