Tonette knew that Jean had left somewhere – where? She has no idea. So she every now and then looks for Jean hoping to find him situated somewhere. Her face lights up seeing Kangin running and waving towards her. She waves back, when Kangin is on her reach, she asks…

Tonette:           Mr. Kangin, where is Jean?

Kangin:            (panting ceaselessly and whispers) Ms. Tonette, I am requested by Sir Jean to inform you 
                        that he is back in his room tired and wishes to rest. I believe he was exhausted with the
                        whole event.

Tonette:           (in a worried face) Oohh… I hope he isn’t sleep yet… wait, Mr. Kangin coud you call Mr.
                        Andrew for me?

 Kangin:            sure Ms. Tonette…(walks towards the direction where Andrew is) Mr. Andrew, Princess
                         Tonette is looking for you. She is still at the banquet area, please follow me.

Andrew hurriedly goes where Tonette is and asks the latter…

                      Andrew:           (bows) Good evening Princess Tonette, what is it that you wish me to do…

                      Tonette:           (points at P. Brutus) see Prince Brutus over there? Let him drink eternally until his down
                                              and send him to his assigned room. After an hour, please tell my parents that I went ahead
                                              before them to rest too. Ok?

Andrew:           Yes, Princess… (goes to where Prince Brutus Is and asks the server to serve him more
                         hard liquor)

Tonette:           (laughing says) Mr. Kangin, you and your companion can stay and enjoy to your hearts
                        content but be ready for tomorrow, ok but please be watchful, as you will be the one
                        guiding Jean… Good night, I will be heading now… If somebody asks about my
                        whereabouts; just say, you don’t know…

Kangin:            yes, Ms. Tonette… (Parts way from Tonette and goes back to his companions)

Tonette goes to her room to change into sleepwear outfit then heads to Jean’s room happy to expectedly find the door open silently enters and sighs when she sees Jean curled up in a ball half asleep …

Tonette:           (sits besides Jean’s body and gently rubs his back) Honey, are you alright?

 Jean:               (holds Tonette’s hands and says) I am alright just tired, stay with me. Will you?

 Tonette:           (lies beside Jean) Don’t worry about tomorrow – I will help you, ok… aaawww…. You’re
                         such a baby – come, you want to lie on top of me…?

 Jean:               (nods and shyly smiles) yes, please… (moves and lies gently on top of Tonette nestles his
                         head between Tonette’s neck and shoulder blades) thanks…hhhmm

Tonette wraps her arms his back and soothingly rubs it. She only stops hearing him deeply breathing so that she now carefully tries to free herself however; smiles and remains in her position when he gently pulls her back.  She adoringly stares at his face and lovingly kisses his forehead making the latter calmly smiles.

She noiselessly squeals in happiness watching his response talking to herself – she says, “my, I can’t get enough of him – this man is so sweet and gentle” and moods suddenly changes remembering P. Brutus face again she says, “that brute guy has to get out of our way – hmmm”. Again, she checks on him and when soft snores are coming out from him, she releases herself from his embrace.

She comforts him with pillows by his side and lightly kisses his lips. She wears on her robe and slowly walks towards the door and closes it then head to her own room. On the way, she meets Kangin and asks…

Tonette:           Is everything ok?

                      Kangin:            (a bit tipsy, bows and responses) Yes, Ms. Tonette. Please rest too and good night…

Tonette:           (chuckles at Kangin’s condition) Good night too, Mr. Kangin…

On the next day, everyone awakens by the sound of the trumpets except for the King and Queen who usually are early risers. Reactions of those people concerned are as follows;

Jean:              (quickly sits up and calls her) Tonette!.... competition… (looks at his side believing Tonette
                       is with him, however mood changes finding out he was all alone the entire night) alright
                       relax and take a deep breath…(inhales and exhales)

Tonette:           (swiftly sits up and calls him) Jean!... oh the competition… (immediately changes her
                        clothes) I need to see him before the competition…

P. Brutus:        (head aching) Aaahhhh… what the hell…

Kangin:            (slowly wakes up and drags himself out of the bed) uuuggghhh… Sir Jean… I need to see
                        him at once...
