Chapter 3       Chances Are…

                        We shall meet again…

Location:        School

Aforesaid, Bummie will be attending the type of school for the rich and famous. It is a heavily guarded school. As you know, many notable families have their kids attend to these type of private schools. This is true for example to the children of politicians, diplomats, royalty, business leaders and other notables. Why is that? Security is an issue for many prominent families.

Attending school behind the gates keeps the paparazzi and a possible kidnap for ransom at bay. But importantly it is purely a matter of pursuing academic quality and giving their child a solid educational foundation. But for Bummie’s case, it’s simply as following educational requirements.

Heechul calls the School Head where Bummie is going to attend. Upon hanging up the phone, aware of Kim’s family arrival, orders the School Security Guards to uphold safety measures of the entire school premises for the Kim’s family protection.

Meanwhile, also on the road is the Choi’s Family. Leeteuk as he understands Kim’s family status quo knows very well how where the Kim’s will let their son be registered. In Korea, (Me – author; is just making assumption) it is not many of private schools that caters for the rich and famous – strictly limited to two schools.

Thus, Leeteuk knows in priority the schools are – by the way, Minnie’s family is famous too i.e., Leeteuk and Sooyoung. Therefore; while inside the car, Leeteuk starts to call the first rank private school he knows with such strong possibility. He then calls the School Head, Siwon – who is a friend with the intention of asking a registration appointment - to continue with the conversation – that goes like this:

Leeteuk:     Hi Siwon! I am coming over for my son’s registration for next school year, can you make some time for us?

Siwon:        Sure, just let give 30 to 45 minutes of waiting time, as am currently entertaining a client – a VIP client with their only son right
                   now – giving them a tour. We have currently emplaced security measures; I hope you are not bothered by it. If it is alright
                   with you, can you come around 45 minutes?

Leeteuk:     That is fine; we are just starting to head the road. We will probably arrive in 30 minutes and if it is alright with you. Can we
                   just come in and just wait inside your office?

Siwon:        Fine then, give me a call when you reach here.

Leeteuk:     Thanks a lot Siwon.

Siwon:        Don’t mention it.

Meanwhile inside Leeteuk’s car;

Leeteuk:      Honey, I think we need to wait for a little bit inside the school because Siwon is currently engaged with the Kim’s but I think it
                    is going to be alright.

Sooyoung:  Oh, so you know it is the Kim’s?

Leeteuk:      Yes, who else would it be? I learned from Mr. Kikwang that the Kim’s family headed for a trip together with their son. And
                    this time, nobody bothers to register their child at such an early time. So that, am pretty sure it is the Kim’s.

Sooyoung:   I want to see them, if it is possible – it is been a long time. We have not even had a chance to meet again. (Breathes
                    deeply)Let’s hope they still remember us – for Pete’s sake – I miss Jessica – that woman is so darn busy. The last time we 
                    met was like months after their wedding before they left for abroad to reside. Good thing they came back incidentally having
                    them as our neighbors now.

Leeteuk:      I think so Hon. Heechul and Jessica are nice people, it is just that they are always kind of busy that they do not even have
                    time to spare for friendly random visit – you know.

Sooyoung:  Yeah, I know. Minnie, sweetie – I think we will meet your new friend Bummie. Are you excited?

Minnie:        (Eagerly excited) Yes Mommee!

Leeteuk:      Son, behave when we meet them ok?

Minnie:        Yes, Daddee!

At this time at Siwon’s Private School;

Siwon:         I hope you find everything in order Mr. and Mrs. Kim. I guarantee you that your son will enjoy his early school time here. Our
                    Private School is First in Academic Excellence and guarantees maximum safety for your child.

Heechul:      Am happy actually, I have read about your school standards and they are great. I just have queries though?

Siwon:         What is it Mr. Kim?

Heechul:      How many students you have in one class?

Siwon:         Total admission is around 100 to 150 maximum. Per class will come around totaling 5 to 6 students. We also classify them 
                    according to child's IQ, EQ and special interests.

Heechul:      I would like to inform you that our son, Bummie has been being home-schooled since he was two. He is nearly turning 5
                    years of age but his IQ level is that of a Junior High Top-notch. I know this may sound rude but I know there are special
                    arrangement for certain students like my son.

Siwon:         Alright then, we will make special arrangement for your son.

Heechul:      Oh, that is great. Bummie, did you hear that?

Jessica:        You will be fine here, Bummie?

Bummie:       I know Mommee and Daddy – I will meet good friends too!!

Heesica:       Yes, sweetie.

Bummie:       Mister Siwon, my interests are singing, dancing, playing instruments, drawing, and I think a lot more – please arrange
                     schedules for them too.

Siwon:          Oh, that is great Bummie, so that this is just the right place for you.

Bummie:      Okie, is very good. Mr. Siwon, can I be excuse – I need to go inside the car to rest – my feet are tired. Mommy, Daddy is
                    alright?

The three of them nod in response and let Bummie head along for a rest. Heechul calls one of the bodyguards to carry Bummie to the car. However, Bummie says,

Bummie:     Thank you very much – Daddy– I can manage to walk – am strong, no need to carry me.

The bodyguard then takes Bummie’s hand and walks him to the car – that leaves the School in Charge in awe of Bummies maturity.

Siwon:         Oh, he is wonderful!

Jessica:       Even we parents are totally amazed by him. We are really blessed having him and thankful that we have a son that is so
                    likeable and funny as well. I hope you will like him Siwon.

Siwon:         Oh, no doubt about that. I am just practically honored that you are choosing our Private School than having to let Bummie
                    study abroad.

Heechul:      Oh, we like it here. Oh by the way, if we are done with the tour perhaps we can go back to your office and complete the
                    registration documents.

Siwon:          Oh sure but could both of you care for tea break so you can relax for a bit while completing the requirements.

Jessica:        Oh, thank you – that is great. Oh, by the way honey, do not forget Bummie’s special very important request.

Heechul:       What is it hon?

Jessica:         Laptop, magazines, books and the infamous Hammock?!

Heechul:        Oh, Siwon – oh my son, thanks by the way hon.

Jessica:         No worries dear.

Heechul:        Sorry Siwon for this but I do not wish to disappoint my son’s request. Let’s head back again at the Greenhouse we passed
                      it by a while ago. I completely forgot about it. Bummie wants to have a hammock installed inside your Greenhouse for the
                      reason that after his class or things that he’d be doing – he wants to treat the place as his resting or study place. As you
                      know, Bummie will be considered I believe after letting him take the qualifying entrance exams – am pretty sure of it – a
                      very special student.
