JP Owen:        Bummie before I forget, I need to give you “some things”… (Calls on Taeyang), Mr. 
                       Taeyang, kindly bring me the luggage…

Taeyang:         (carrying two pieces of luggage) here they are Sir…

JP Owen:        Bummie son – please open it…

Kibum:             (curious follows his grandfather’s order) Sure Papa… (Opens the two luggage and
                        shocked at what he sees) wwwhooaa!! What are all these…

JP Owen:        These are all gifts from my business friends and believe me my competitors as well…
                        three days ago during a tele-conference meeting with a very trusted friend – I slipped to
                        inform him that I need to finish our meeting to attend your birthday party. Little did I know –
                        when he heard it, called many of my business friends and informed them – funny even my
                        competitor as well only in business I mean but they are my friends too you know.

                                              The following day, what surprised me are these…? I don’t know what they are or every
                                              single envelope contains… I mean you may want to open just so you know what it is…
                                              and I would like to know as well…

                      Jessica:           Oh my god… I am afraid – I have a feeling what one of those would contain…

                      Heechul:          Go on son, open one…

                      Kibum:             (follows what he was told) ok… I will (picks one and opens it – reads and shakes his head
                                               in disbelief) here – I don’t want to read it – but can I return them? (Thinks and changes his
                                              decision) never mind – it will be rude to do it… (Gives it to his Mom to read)

Jessica:           Oh my god… Daddy… (And looks at the two bags full of envelopes in it) those bags like
                        contains more than a 100 envelopes in it… (Opens at least 10 pieces of envelope in
                        random from the two bags) …oh ggeezzzz… (Covers astounded)

Heechul:          What is it honey – why, what is wrong?

JP Owen:        Yeah, sweetie what is it?

Jessica:           (composing herself, reads the ten envelopes she just opened while looking at the silent
                        Kibum) okay…

Kibum:             hhhmmmm Papa… don’t you think…

Heechul:          We know our status but… Dad…. Don’t you think …?

JP Owen:        Sorry guys, they pleaded and you are right sweetie – it is rude to return them… for them
                        this is a sort of thanking us too… they probably have their own reasons. You may call it
                        two-way beneficial act but look just thinking of the time each of them spent sending it as
                        soon as possible to me was I thought of very sincere…

Jessica:           But Daddy, we are talking about two bags full – for an uneducated guess – I’d sum them
                        up each bag contains again like at least 300 pieces in total 700 envelopes of them…

Heechul:          Honey, not just that – look at all Bummie’s guests plus our guests… you need to count
                        them too…

Jessica:           (shakes her head in disbelief) Honey, I told them not to bring gifts…

Heechul:          (chuckling) like my… they would – come (guiding Jessica to a see-through glass window)
                        see that two treasure boxes there in the entrance corner. I was told by Mr. Taeyang – they
                        are now filled with envelopes too. And go to the one of the unused ballrooms – I mean not
                         the two we are currently using for this affair – filled with gifts…

Jessica:           (in amazed and a bit frustrated face looks at the still silent Bummie) Sweetie, I am so sorry
                        but we never imagined and it’s pretty unavoidable… I requested my friends as well as your
                        Dad’s not to bring gifts but I guess they are kind of stubborn… (Smiles sweetly)

Kibum:             (gently smiles) Daddy, Mommy and Papa – I do understand that… It is alright, yeah you
                        are all right… It can’t be helped – I can do something about the cash gifts, you know -
                        donate it to charitable institutions. I do hope Auntie Sooyoung and Uncle Heechul didn’t
                        prepare gifts too you know especially Minho and Taemin – though… hmmm… and oh, by
                        the way Mom, Dad, Papa I need to give gifts to all our employees.... I need to visit each 
                       company ... well like how many are they? hhmmm... pretty many... but it's ok.... (raises his
                       head to look at his parents and grandfather) please inform them.... hhhmm I wonder if my
                       schoolmates brought gifts as well... ayoooo (shakes his head and sighs)

JP Owen, Jessica and Heechul all laugh at Kibum’s innocent remarks……

JP Owen:        Oh my god sweetie – you have a very good heart…

Kibum:             I think I will have to prepare thousands of thank you messages as well. Please don’t loose
                        them – I mean; I will prepare a letter to each and everyone ....

JP Owen:        Oh… (Surprised by Kibum’s statement – goes to Jessica and Heechul and whispers)
                        Bummie is really different – if it was me, I would not bother… I mean, you know…

Jessica:           (shakes her head and whispers back at her father) that’s what we and you don’t know
                        about Kibum… he is really such a nice person…

Heechul:          (nods and whispers too) me too, I’d give thanks perhaps but not the kind of way he is
                        going to do it… Wow, he is really something… I am so proud of him

Kibum:             (sighs at the three talking in whispers) Are you all going to discuss in soft voices, as if I
                        don’t know what you are thinking…geezzz

"Sorry Bummie" All the three sheepishly smiles back at Kibum. Then Jessica exclaims,

Jessica:           Oh, your Aunt Sooyoung and Uncle Leeteuk as well as Minho and Taemin are looking for
                        you – I will ask them to come in. We can give you a moment ok? While we change our
                        clothes to mingle with our visitors… you two Daddies come along… Sweetie, say Hi for the
                        meantime from all of us, ok…

 Kibum:            (smiling) sure mom…bye Papa and Daddy. (Calls on his grandfather) Pa, I will come to
                        see you in a while…ok?

JP Owen:        Sure sweetie…

Jessica:           (unsure looks at her father) what is that Daddy?

JP Owen:        Oh…sort of talk… you know…

Heechul:          Yeah, Dad – let us know…

JP Owen:        (puts his hands on his chin) in time … in time…. Enjoy the night

 Meanwhile, Sooyoung and the rest of the Choi’s eagerly walk where Kibum is – when met by Taeyang…

Taeyang:         Ms. Sooyoung and company, sir Kibum is waiting for you at the receiving area… please
                        follow me…

Sooyoung:       Oh really… thanks… Mr. Taeyang, I wonder if he is alright… I need to ask him to change 
                        for casual outfit so he can mingle with his friends…

Leeteuk:          Thank you Mr. Taeyang, we just want to greet Bummie…

Taeyang:         Oh, Mr. Leeteuk you all don’t need to sound formal by the way – you are like a family to 
                        the Kim’s so please no worry… You are Kibum’s top priority list…

Sooyoung:       (smiles) Aaawww darling, he is just so sweet…
