Day 5 – Invitation Replies

Last night Kibum wasn’t able to check his mail due to some urgent request from his grandfather - and decided to check the email the next day – meaning today.

Kibum’s after his usual routine – checks his email surprised to see “260 new mails” but before proceeding to read every mail, he opens Siwon’s mail first...

Dear Mr. Kim Kibum,

I trust you are fine.

I've decided to give your email ad as these are quite a lot. Anyway I will make  my mail short coz I believe that you will have enormous mails in your inbox. I followed your instructions and they are all willing to go regardless of it but please make note of their additional requests. I will leave it up to you to decide…

After reading Siwon’s mail; Kibum smiles and starts to read each and everyone’s mail. While reading Kibum can’t restrain to smile over everyone’s letter and responses happily to all of them as well as granting all requests.

Kibum’s whole day finished by just responding those mails. Although it was tiresome, Kibum didn’t mind coz he enjoyed it

Day 6 – Kibum and His Household Companions

 As the usual routine goes, Joonie wakes Kibum up…

Joonie:            Bummie wake up… it is pretty late in the morning…

Kibum:             (yawns) Oh, hi Ms. Joonie, how are you?

Joonie:            I am fine thank you – it has been a long time for me to do these things like this like waking
                       you up…

 Kibum:             (giggles) why? Did you miss it?

 Joonie:            (makes a fake angry face) I don’t think so… it is a pain in the head to wake you up… (then
                         laughs)

 Kibum:             (speaks in babyish manner) I don’t think tho… I think you mith me really bery mush!! 
                         (spreads his hands apart - then beams at Joonie)

 Joonie:            (giggles and tickles Kibum) you little rat….

 Kibum:             (flails wildly) Mith Joonie… Mith Joonie…enough Bummie ith thick…. Ha h ah ha

 Joonie:            (panting while laughing) ok…get up now Bumbum… breakfast is waiting for you 
                        downstairs…

 Kibum:             Ms. Joonie are they here yet? Where’s Mr. Taeyang?

 Joonie:            They said they will arrive late in the afternoon or probably at night… Taeyang has been
                        called by Miss Jessica for errands…

 Kibum:             Oh my, everyone is so busy… by the way, could you ask the chef to cook good for 50
                         people… Set the food at the ballroom area – let them manage how they will arrange the
                         tables and chairs – fine with me. Foods I want prepared are pancakes, waffles, bacons
                        and eggs – however the chef wants to prepare them, and fruit juices – any kind? Let me 
                        know when finished and I will go down myself, ok?

 Joonie:            Ok Bummie…

 On the way down, Joonie wonders why Kibum has requested to cook for 50 people… saying to herself, “hhmmm what could be in his mind, he is sometimes so mysterious in his own little ways – so random. What, 50 people?” So she calls the chef in charge and tell him of Kibum’s request.

Less than an hour, Kibum’s request is done. Ms. Joonie calls Kibum and soon after that the latter’s footsteps can be heard hurrying down the ballroom area…

Kibum:             Ms. Joonie, come please…

Joonie:            Yes Bummie…what is it?

Kibum:             oh, Miss Joonie I forgot to bring the box – kindly get it inside my room but you can do that
                        later… sorry!

 Joonie:            ok Bummie…

 Kibum:             hello, everybody!!

At Kibum’s greeting, everyone all at the same time bows his/her head and responses…

“Good morning, Sir Kibum”

                       Kibum:             Thank you for cooking all of these… and now have a sit and let us all eat…

As a result, everyone looks at each other including Joonie – quickly says….

Joonie:            Bummie…. Uuhmmm… are you sure..

 Kibum:           (smiles at Joonie and nods) yap…ok…everyone don’t be shy…sit and let us all eat…ok?
                       Ignore my presence – eat well…

“Yes, Sir Kibum”

So everyone enjoys their meal while talking… in the middle of it, Kibum whispers to get the box inside his room. Thus, Joonie does so – after 5 minutes, she arrives with the box.

Kibum:             Thanks Ms. Joonie, I will still have a request to ask from you but that would be later…

Joonie:            No problem, Bummie…

Kibum calls everybody’s attention…and says…

“Everyone, thank you for sharing breakfast with me… I am very happy to see everyone happy as well. So for that, I would like to share something to all of you – I do hope you will like it…”

Kibum opens the box containing pink scented envelopes, and passes the boxes to the person next to him and says…

“Please take one and pass it on to the person next to you. Open it when I step out of this hall”

As soon as Kibum leaves the ballroom area with Joonie – all of the household all together open the envelope and scream in happiness startling Joonie … Kibum smiles…

“THANK YOU SIR KIBUM – THANK YOU”

Kibum:             Ms. Joonie, how many household staffs do we have in total?

Joonie:            (thinks) If I am not mistaken you have an average of 130 each country. 15 countries - In
                       total that would be like…

 Kibum:             less than 2,000, right?

 Joonie:            yes…

 Kibum:             send via bank transfer U$500 to each of them… a present for all their hardwork…

 Joonie:            (gasps) uh-huh…o-ok..Bummie…

  Kibum:            Ms. Joonie kindly help me organize the school invited guests list. I believe there are some
                         we need to arrange travel itineraries and the housing accommodation as well. By the
                         way, Mom and Dad will organize their invited guests themselves…

 Joonie:            ok… Bummie but how about the Choi’s family…

 Kibum:             Mom, I believe will be handling that except for Minho and Taeminnie, they will be with me
                         for the whole event. Speaking of which… I need to call the two Minnies tomorrow – I
                         guess they must have received the invitation – aaiisshh, I forgot to tell them separately…
                         Ok, Ms. Joonie thank you very much… I can manage myself…

Joonie:            Ok, Bummie, call me if you need me, ok?

 Kibum:             Yeap, thanks a lot…
