Day 2 – Discussions about the Theme of the Party

Jessica:           Ms. Joonie, has Kibum awakened?

 Joonie:            yes, Ms. Jessica – he’s at his bedroom-office.

 Jessica:           Bummie…. I hope you are not working… (heading towards Kibum’s place – surprised to
                         see Bummie working on a pile of papers – lightly annoyed) Bummie!

 Kibum:             (surprised to see his mom agitated) sorry, just a few minutes – please!

 Jessica:           Are those you’re doing from Daddy?

 Kibum:             (hesitating) hhmm… (but resigned as he doesn’t lie) y-yeah… but don’t worry Mom – this
                         is very urgent but won’t take a lot of our time…

 Jessica:           (pissed) sweetie, give me your phone…

 Kibum:             (concerned about his mom’s annoyed look – he knows how terrible his Mom can be when
                         pissed that even his Dad is afraid to stop her) o-okay... (hands his mobile phone) here…

 Jessica:           (dials a one-digit speed keypad number and) DADDY!!!! (shouted and continues) HOW
                         DARE YOU!!!!

Kibum gulps; while Heechul upon hearing the shout, runs to where the source – only to find the angry wife of his – make an afraid face to Kibum, walks towards where the latter is asking in a soft voice… making himself invisible in Jessica’s eye, who is still continuing ranting on the phone…

Heechul:          (whispering) *** Hey Bummie, what has happened?...

 Kibum:             (in whisper manner replies) *** she caught me working on Papa’s cases…

“IF YOU KEEP ON BOTHERING BUMMIE FOR THE WHOLE ENTIRE WEEK OF OUR PLANNING FOR THE HUGE CELEBRATION, I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU COME!!

Heechul:          (shakes his head and whispers) ***uugghh son, that was a terrible mistake (putting his
                        pointer finger in a hush pose on his lips) Bummie, never make your Mom angry – if you
                        know what I mean. Whatever you have learned from the teachings you received – she
                        learned it first…ok?

“DO WE HAVE A DEAL?! (then voice softens) hhmmmppp… fine… ok I understand but I will decide which day within this week I can inject your requests, ok – love you too, Daddy”

Kibum:             ***yeah – I am aware of that….

Heechul:          (winks at Kibum) got that? See?

Kibum:             ***sshhh, here she comes…

Jessica:           (smiling sweetly like nothing out-of-herself just happened) Sweetie, your Papa is such a
                        pest… please, forgive him will you? Uugghhh, I so hate him you know (making a ball fist 
                        and searches for something to receive it but could not – and sees Heechul but instead of
                        punch – pinches Heechul cheeks) Honeeey, ggrrrr….

 Heechul:          oouccchhh…hhhhooowwwnnneee….ooouucchhh..

 Jessica:           (smiles widely at Kibum) so sweetie – let’s continue shall we… Honey – come…

So they all gathered in Kibum’s office and continue the discussion from where they stopped yesterday…           

Jessica:           Sweetie, we have sought for Party Planning agencies and they will let me know what the
                        best excellent Party Theme is for your birthday. But you know, your dad and mine have
                        decided to keep it as a surprise for you… if that is all right – should be fun, you know.

 Kibum:             (chuckles) oh – that is fine Mom. I am looking forward to it…

 Heechul:          Yap… and about the food…what suggestions do you have Bummie…

 Kibum:             what suggestions? I would like a mix of everything. If it is going to be a variety of guests
                         from different parts of the world, I would suggest that we prepare a set of cuisine for each
                         country. For example; if for a Japanese visitor that would mean a three to five types of
                         appetizers same for the soup, main course, dessert and drinks. I mean, both of you would
                         know the country your visitors represent, right?

 Jessica:           (surprised by Kibum’s smart reply) wwhooaaa… Sweetie, that is good…

 Heechul:          (nods in agreement) seriously… Like Mother, Like Son and so where am I?

Jessica and Bummie say exactly at the same time…

“Honey!! For Pete’s sake!”

“Daddy – stop!!

Heechul:          (in resignation says…) he he I am just kidding… I love you two too much..

“EEEWWWWW” Both Jessica and Kibum replied…

So for the second day – no additional chaotic scenes had happened…

Day 3 – Jessica and Heechul Kibum’s Plans

 Kibum wakes up at 12:30pm in the afternoon as they lasted 3:00 early this morning – finding a note from his parents saying:

Sweetie,

 Good afternoon (we know)! Sorry about this but Daddy and me will have to meet with the organizers of the event and may come back in three or four days. We will be discussing with them regarding the venue, give-away gifts and other stuffs for the grand day.

 For the meantime, you may continue what you’re doing with Daddy’s work. Get enough rest though – don’t over work, ok.

Kibum smiles and inserts the note that his parent wrote in his diary. He finishes his brunch and work on his Papa’s pending jobs - reminding himself…

“I need to finish these works as soon as possible I have to go to our school to personally invite all of them. Hmm… How should I do it – not going overboard, perhaps through the School-In-Charge Mr. Siwon? Yeah, I think through Mr. Siwon is a better idea.”
