“Oh yeah… I kind of forgot…
(chuckles) sorry…”

Onew instead of responding back simply smiles and shows to the other a bottle of wine on his hand.  

Taemin’s face suddenly changes from a calm state to a developing excitement stage and Onew seeing the immediate change in Taemin’s behavior – smiles and somehow gives him goosebumps all over hm but not wanting to show how he feels; he would pinch his side of his body.

“Hyung…
thank you so much and I am so sorry
that I totally forgot it…
I assume you have been waiting for
my arrival since minutes ago…”

Onew:             (shakes his head) It is alright…
                       I kind of expected your coming late and somehow
                       would be wandering around some place for relaxation…
                       am I right…?

Taemin:           (stunned by Onew’s reply) Ooohh…
                        you somehow know me well…

Onew:             (smiles) Not so much…
                       perhaps starting to know you better is
                       the better explanation to describe it…

Taemin:           (nods) Thanks hyung…
                        perhaps I have to do the same thing for you as well…
                        if you do not mind…
                        of course, with your permission…

Onew:             (nods) By all means Taemin… by all means…
                       I gladly welcome the idea and actually very happy with it…

Taemin:           (laughs) Great… 
                       (takes a deep breath) so what exactly do we need to do…

                       (looks at the bottle Onew’s holding) Why not I prepare our dinner...
                       cook…? something like that...
                       that wine is a good partner for the
                       kind of recipe I have in mind… what do you think…
                       hyung…?

Onew:             (excited tone replies) That is a good idea and to be honest,
                       I am definitely hungry and craving for food…

Taemin:           (chuckling and holds Onew’s hand) So then,
                        what are we waiting for… come on inside…

                        (inserts the appropriate key door then opens it)
                        Here we go… feel at home hyung…
                        I will be all alone for the couple of days….

                        (counting his fingers) For four days to be exact…

Onew:             (acts curious though he already knew
                       the agreement courtesy of Kibum)

                        I believe in you like how I saw you for the very first time…

Taemin:           (shaking his head) Wow…
                        you can still remember my mental state at that time meeting me…  
                        I greatly appreciate it very much…

                        (smiling) As a reward, I will cook something
                        very sumptuously delicious for you…

Onew:             (bows) Thank you very much your highness…
                       It is a pleasure for me to be served by you…

Taemin:           (chuckles and covers his mouth) Yaahh…
                        you will have to help me by the way…
                        I need an assistant…
                        time for you to do a different task… and that is…
                        cook assistant…what do you think…?

Onew:             (eyes beam) I like that… let’s start then…

They spent about forty-five minutes to finish their cooking and when finally done, Taemin prepares the mini-dining table located at the balcony overseeing the expanse of the beautiful city of Paris while Onew momentarily remains inside to clean the kitchen.  Taemin happily sprints going to a particular cabinet where he keeps miscellaneous things then goes back to the kitchen surprised to see Onew busy cleaning…

Taemin:           (pats Onew’s shoulder) Hyung….
                       What are you doing here…?

Onew:             (shocked) Oh… I am just cleaning…

Taemin:           (sighs and smiles) You did not come here
                        to do part time jobs did you…?

Onew:             (laughs and raises both of his hand)
                       Okey… am done…

Taemin:           (nods) Good…! Now let us both eat…
                        I know you are hungry hence we have something in common…

Onew:             (surprised about what Taemin just said) In common…?
                       Us…? Two…?

Taemin:           (shaking his head) You do not know…? Aaasshhh…..
                        I think I am the only one investing in this relationship…

Onew:             (gasps) Relationship…?

Taemin:           (smiles) Close friends…? Do you not like…?

Onew:             (shakes his head) No…I like it very much…
                       and what is it again about what we have in common…?

Taemin:           (sighs and smiles wholeheartedly) We both love to eat…
                        Me… I like any food as long as they are tasty and
                        You…hyung…
                        you like anything as long as there is chicken in it…

Onew:             (elated) Oh… you know my favorite…as well…how…?

Taemin:           (chuckling) I asked around…
                        (points at Onew) And don’t ask me who I asked…
                        it is confidential… ok…?

Onew:             (nods) Ok… what can I say…

Taemin:           (laughs) Well… up to you…
                        not my choice of words but you…

                        (holds Onew’s hand drags the latter out of the kitchen)
                        Come, let’s eat…

With thumping heart, Onew secretly grinning happily and clenching his free hand as they walk the hallway to the place he does not know yet but regardless he is very happy at this moment. And thus, trying to sound neutral or composed he asks…

“Where are we going…?”
