Kibum nods holding Minho’s hand tightly.  Minho on the other hand is quietly pondering on what his mother and he had discussed. Just by remembering it, makes his heart aches – this instant, he wants to cry, wail out loudly and shout to the whole world that what his lifelong wish is… but, he can not. Minho does not have the strength and selfishness to do it. All these years of wishing and hoping have made his mind, heart and body numb… not alone… but cold.

Minho inhales noiselessly secretly looks at Kibum’s worried face and thinks to himself…

“I guess I need to do this…
for everyone’s sake….”

Minho sadly smiles at Kibum who suddenly looks at him in a poignant way saying…

“Is everything alright…Minnie…?”

Minho simply nods points to the elevator opening then steps ahead of Kibum pulling the latter’s hand asking to follow him. Kibum smiles at Minho’s usual silly and cute behavior, steps out of the elevator, and turns his face towards the room. Minho looks around; the place is so peaceful and quiet and thinks…

“Wish all of our lives are quiet and peaceful as well…”

Minho shakes his head, humoring himself and clenches his free hand then quietly turns his face away from Kibum’s sight and releases a huge sigh. Trusting Kibum to lead the way to where it is going, his mind continues to drift somewhere unmindful of what is happening – until…

“Minnie…hey… Minnie…”
Kibum calling him back…

Kibum’s voice sends him back to reality, shakes his head and immediately his eyes lead him to focus on where Taemin’s location is then calls the latter’s name…

“Taemin…”

Kibum:             (moves the shocked Minho forward) Minnie… come…

Minho:             (walks suspiciously and again says) Taemin…

At this time, Onew has notice their entrance , gets up from the chair then walks to their direction saying…

“Kibum-ssi, Minho-ssi… 
Taemin has already awakened…
but falls down to sleep again…”

Minho after hearing the good news, takes a gulp of air and loudly releases saying …

“Thanks heaven…”

Kibum:             (nods) Good…
                        (looks at Onew) Hyung…
                        please rest if you want… we can manage here…
                        you have watched Taemin all night long awake…

Minho:             (nodding continuously) Yeah… hyung…
                        we are here… please rest…

Onew:             (smiles) I am alright… Okay…
                        I will leave a bit later but is it alright if I come back every now
                        and then to check on Taemin…

Minho:             (surprised look at Kibum then back at Onew)
                        hhhmm… yeah…why not…
                        I think Taemin will like that…

Kibum:             (smiles) Sure hyung… come free anytime…

All three of them go to the side where huge couches are located near to Taemin’s bed and continue with their mission of watching over Taemin. Suddenly Onew calls both of their attention…

Onew:             Kibum-ssi… Minho-ssi…
                       There is something I need to tell you.
                        I have kept this truth for almost two years now…
                        please forgive me for not telling what exactly happened two years ago…

Minho:             (tilting his face sideways utters) Hyung…
                        what is it all about…?

Kibum:             (wonders) Hyung…? Something bad happened to you…?

Onew:             (shakes his head) No… Kibum-ssi…
                       it concerns you, Minho-ssi, Taemin and me.

Kibum:             (surprised) Ha…!?

Minho:             (he could almost hear his heart thumps) Huh…?

Onew:             (wearing a serious, takes a deep breath then speaks)
                       It was the time when you
                       – Kibum-ssi had already awakened from your coma…

Minho after hearing Onew’s story introduction gasps and discreetly places his right hand above his chest to stabilize his fast beating heart. He too, remembered what exactly happened that day when Kibum finally woke up from a long time of sleeping…

“Taemin and I were the first ones to arrive and
we knew of Minho’s schedule to come
to take care of you, Kibum-ssi…
I would like to share this to you that at the time
when you were under coma…
Minho-ssi here religiously took care and watched over you.

Juggling his time from work, the two kids and you;
I have watched him how he sacrificed his sleeps
and rests to watch over you Kibum-ssi.

I have witnessed how amazing his love is that
even I really had supported him by reminding him
that time that he needed to get back as soon as possible as
I was sensing your coming back to consciousness.

And that moment came Kibum-ssi, unknown to Taemin,
I saw you opening and closing your eyes and
caught you murmuring Minho’s name.
Immediately, I informed Minho that
he needed to come here quickly.

Minho on his part, would tell me his whereabouts
at that time and if my memory serves me right,
 I think according to Mom who finally revealed to me after
(looks at Kibum)
you finally shared to me your secret
– you were taking care of the twins’ welfare which
somehow as a result of you coming late for five to ten minutes.

The five to ten minutes was the turning point of the events…
(Onew breathes in deeply and exhales loudly)
It was the time when you woke up and saw Taemin
then out of the blue mistaken Taemin as Minho by calling him Minnie…

I was about to let you know that
(looks at Minho)
He was on the way however much to my surprise and 
astonishment was when Taemin without regard acknowledged
your calling him Minnie and the latter justifying his doing
due to his last syllable’s name Min…

I was shocked and stunned much more when
I heard Minho’s objection
– he came exactly the time when Taemin deceived you…

I started feeling so guilty onwards up to this time.
I have tried my best to let Taemin knew what
he was about to do was a big mistake…
(sighs) but I believe you are aware of Taemin’s determination
to love you and be loved by Kibum-ssi so that, I gave in.

(looks at Minho) Minho-ssi…
I am really sorry, please forgive me…
I could have done something to stop Taemin
but I did nothing instead…
It was so agonizing for me to watch you
in so much pain and sorrow from that time on…

I am aware of the degree of dilemma or mess I allowed myself into…
I am really so sorry Minho-ssi and Kibum-ssi…
you could have lived a very happy life
from the time you came back Kibum…

I am sorry…

After his revelation, Onew suddenly feels so light and relieved. He suddenly stands up and stretches his body up and takes a huge deep intake of air and releases it – gets back to sitting and then speaks again…

“Kibum-ssi… Minho-ssi… from now on,
I will try to help you come back together again…”

“Thank you…
Onew-hyung and I understand why you did that…
so I forgive you and it is the past now...
we are moving on…however difficult but...
I am wishing that things will be alright...”

“Thank you very much Kibum-ssi…”

Minho unknowingly without a sound cries and unconsciuously lays his head on Kibum’s lap seeking comfort, refuge and strength from the person who he loves deeply more than his life.  He is happy about Onew’s revelation and sad at the same time for the upcoming trials as a result.

Meanwhile, Kibum lightly gasps when Minho lays his head on his lap and surprised to see the other with so much tears in his falling so that instantly he Minho’s hair and back trying to settle down the latter’s condition.  He decides not to ask Minho but instead tenderly and calmly comfort the latter’s feeling by letting him know of his presence.

Due to tiredness and lack of sleep, all three of them drift away to sleep…
