At meal time, Kibum has not mentioned or asked about his business and personal affairs but rather asks about what Taeyang, Joonie, his parents – in fact his entire family as well as Minho’s family in his great grandfather and grandfather i.e, Lord Owen’s kingdoms. He has not talked about his own tragedies and problems as he already knew all about it and did not wear them on his sleeves.

Kibum:             (looks directly at Mr. Taeyang’s eyes) Mr. Taeyang…
                        so tell me about Minho and my kids…
                        I am very happy in fact but I still would like to know…

Taeyang:         This I would like to sincerely apologize however it was
                        Ms. Natalie’s request not to tell you
                        – and I gave her my promise not to let you know.

Kibum:             (tone rising in a questioning manner)
                        what do you mean…?

Taeyang:         When you and Ms. Natalie started to live together
                         – a month after that, she contacted me as to how;
                         I didn’t have any idea up to now.
 

                          She told me everything about how 
                          she met you first time at your party…
                          her family background, her ailness, 
                          her guilt of taking you away from Minho and her redemption.

She loved you very much that she told me
she’d be willing to give her life just to make you happy.
If I am not mistaken, a day before her delivery;
she, Dr. Tiffany and Minho signed a contract specifying that
Minho will be one of the parents of the twins
but the way I interpreted the contract was that Minho was given
full authority with the twins despite of you as their biological father – Kibummie…

I believe that Ms. Natalie was not trying to offset you
but more of like thinking purposely forward to something…
I honestly believe she meant well for you and Minho…

Kibum:             (nods and smiles) Mr. Taeyang… don’t worry about that…
                        I would be happy to see my twins with Minnie…

                       (voice on a happier tone) have you seen and talk with them…?
 

Joonie:            (laughs) I heard them over the phone… Kibummie…
                       it gets me back to your toddler years… so cute and my…

                       (looks at Kibum and Taeyang) pretty brilliant
                       for a one year and months old…

Taeyang:         (nods repeatedly) My… I agree…
                        they are so beautiful and geniuses too…

Kibum:             (sighs happily) yeah… and it is not a surprise to me at all…

Joonie:            (looks at Kibum) why…?

Kibum:             Minnie told me that Natalie’s IQ was 110%...

Joonie:            Did you not know Natalie’s personal profile…?

Kibum:             (shakes his head) Her family yes… but her own… no…
                        she requested me not to….
                        So I kept my promise and not investigate about her personal profile…

Taeyang:         Kibummie…
                        Ms. Natalie was helping me secretly with KPK’s entire businesses
                        – she was handling 15% of the entire KPK Enterprises
                        except the ones that you were currently
                        working on before your accident.

                        You know about their family’s mining and petroleum industries…right?

Kibum:             (nods) yes… I do…

Joonie:            Kibummie… aside from Natalie being the only daughter
                       of the 6th richest family in the world –
                       she too owns businesses of her own
                       with whom I was asked to recommend persons to handle
                       her businesses worldwide in her demise…

Kibum:             (surprised) What do you mean…?

Taeyang:         (smiles) Ms. Natalie personality was basically same like you…
                        she owns the biggest telecommunication,
                        food supplies, car manufacturing facilities
                        and of course aside from her own mining and petroleum gas industries;

                        she also owns the biggest pharmaceutical drug facilities
                        in Brazil and ten countries worldwide.

Kibum:             (flabbergasted) Oh my… I did not know about that…

Joonie:            I believe it was also a secret from her parents
                       and used an alias name.
                       And then, Ms. Natalie gave us a signed contract indicating Mr. Minho
                       to be the safekeeper of all of her assets if something happens to her
                       until the twins reach 13 years of age… 
                       and while up and running;
                       Mr. Minho gets 10% of her entire businesses but…

Kibum:             (surprise) but what…?

Taeyang:         Minho does not know a single thing
                        except the mining and petroleum gas industry
                        which Ms. Natalie informed him early on.
                        Mr. Minho even rejected it at first
                        but accepted it for the sake of the kids’ welfare…

                        These two years, Mr. Minho has been working doubly hard
                        for KPK as well as his own too...
                        of course balancing his time taking care of the twins
                        regardless they have four reliable nannies of their own…
 

Kibum:             (mystified) What do you mean “his own too”…?

Joonie:            Mr. Minho now has his own mining and petroleum gas industry
                       in two countries apart from managing some of Natalie’s businesses;
                       he managed to put up his own telecommunication services
                       and pharmaceutical facilities in two Asian countries – and all of that…

                       Kibummie… you will be surprised how good hearted

Kibum:             How is that…?

Taeyang:         Main benefactors are Minnie and Kibummie
                        – his children and of course yours…

Kibum:             What…?!

Joonie:            Yes… that is why we applaud him and have a lot of respect to him.
                       Mr. Minho is really a very good person…

Taeyang:         And that is all we can tell you about Ms. Natalie….

Kibum:            (faces Taeyang) hhhmm…

Taeyang:         Her parents know about Minnie and Kibummie…

Kibum:             (worries) Do they also know about the arrangements regarding Minnie…?

Joonie:            (nods) Yes… and Ms. Natalie was very strict
                        about the implementation of the contract
                        not allowing her parents to govern or control the twins.

                        So that, her parents accepted that hard fact
                        but are quite very happy - learning and seeing
                        from videos we keep sending them
                        as to how Mr. Minho been raising the twins very well…

Kibum:             (smiles) I agree…
                        Minnie and Kibummie call him Umma…
                        so cute… he he he…don’t you think…?

Taeyang:         (nods) And it may be hard to accept that
                        even if you are their biological father…
                        I think they will probably choose Mr. Minho over you…
                        Kibummie…

Kibum:             (nods and smiles) I respect that thought…
                        I saw it myself how my or
                        I suppose I should say my kids love Minnie so much…

Joonie:            By the way, Natalie’s parents would be coming for a visit soon
                       I believe next week or until further notice…

Kibum:             (surprised) Is that so…?
                        So what do you think Mr. Taeyang and Ms. Joonie…
                        Do I need to show myself…?

Taeyang:         According to Ms. Natalie… you don’t have to…
                        They already know that the father of the kids
                        belongs to one of Lord Owen’s family –
                        so they don’t mind if Ms. Natalie had requested not to let them know about you.
                        I guess for security reasons…

Kibum:             Oh I see…
                        (hands on his chin) So does anyone else know
                        about our kids’ existence…?

Joonie:            Aside from those which we have already mentioned…
                       Mr. Jonghyun and Ms. Yuri knew…
                       as they have been a great help to Mr. Minho
                       who basically requested from Ms. Natalie to let it be known.

Taeyang:         One more thing about Mr. Minho which surprised me and Joonie…

Kibum:             What is that…?

Taeyang:         Ms. Yuri volunteered to be the surrogate mother
                        and is now a month old pregnant…
                        I was informed by Dr. Tiffany that…
                        she is pregnant with twins as well but Minho does not know yet…

                        They are currently in Hawaii –
                        I sent them for a month vacation…
                        They too… are a nice couple – good hearted one…
                        and they love the twins too a lot treating them like their own children…
