Chapter 34         When Everyone Becomes Strangers…
                              Kibum’s Vagueness and Minho’s Continuing Struggles…

Minho, Jonghyun and Yuri at Kibum – Natalie’s previous house…
Children: Kibummie and Minnie – One Year and Ten Months Old…
Holiday – Weekend…

“Kibummie…..Bummie…..Minnie…..Minnie…..
where are you two…? Aaaisshh Jonggie…
help me find these two cute and lovely little rascals…
please show yourselves…”
Yuri’s voice is echoing in the hallway… 

“(laughing) Are they hiding from you again…?
 They sure love to make fun of you…”
Jonghyun replies…

 Meanwhile while Jonghyun and Yuri are looking for the two kids, Minho prepares the food and other things for today’s picnic – checking it one by one not to miss anything for the today’s fun holiday – saying to him self… 

“What else do I need to bring…?
I am pretty sure something is bothering me and that
– it is telling me that I am missing something…
what could that be…?”

 Then his eyes focuses on the left side of the bar counter area where a basket of fruits are placed a bunch of strawberries then it suddenly reminds him of Kibum unknowingly says softly… 

“Kibummie…how are you…
I hope Taemin is making you happy…?”

 He goes by the glass wall and checks on the weather because as it rarely happens that this time is Autumn season, a clear sunny appeared in the middle of the rainy season and Minho just wants to take advantage of what the weather has currently presented – smiling agreeing to the plan he has suddenly made – fun time with his children along with Yuri and Jonghyun…

Still in full concentration imagining how beautiful this day would be then suddenly just be startled when the two kids appear suddenly out of the kitchen cabinet surprising him…

Kibummie:       Umma... Umma… hi…hi…hi…wai ur kolling me…? 

Minho:             (surprised) Kibummie…what are you both doing down there… 

Kibummie:       (laughing cutely) Minnie and I arr hiding from aunchie… 

Minnie:            (pouting) hhmmpphh… shlow…auntsie….
                       (giggles) Hi…hi…hi… 

Minho:             (sighs) aaiisshhh… are you making fun by hiding
                        from Auntie Yuri again…?
                        Kibummie… Minnie…
                        Don’t be so hard on Auntie… 

Kibummie:       (shakes head) sha..rranng…Aunchie….
                        I luff  aunchiee… sho…bbigg… 

Minnie:            (nods) Me too… Umma… sharang Auntsie…
                       luv auntsie…ferry mush… 

Minho:             (controlling his laugh over the cuteness and silliness
                        of his kids hugs them instead and says)
                        Gosh… why are both of you so pretty and cute….
                        Appa should be very happy to see you… 

Kibummie:       (asks) Umma…were ish Appa…? 

Minnie:            (tells Kibummie) Bummie…Appa…
                       ish in odther cantsry in Korhea… or layk …

                       (gasps) Ooommoo… Umma…
                        maybe appa ish in Marsh…
 

Kibummie:       (sighing) aassshh… Minnie…aacchooo…
                       ur reeding choo mush shyans booksh…
                       aahh…I hef hedake… 

Minnie:            (nods repeatedly) yes….yes…
                        I want tso be good cyanchist… make espasheeps…

                       (jumping like crazy) yey!...yey!...
                       (looks at Minho) correk umma…?
 

Minho:             (so amused as to how cute their discussions are)
                        correct…Minnie…
                        you will be a great scientist building spaceships… 

Minnie:            (happy and looks at Kibummie) tseee…? Kimmie….
                       (pouts) Hhhmmpphh… 

Kibummie:       (shrugs of shoulder and says) whachever…
                       am schtill a choddler…. 

Minho:             (controlling his laugh and supports Kibummie’s statement)
                        you are right too Kibummie… you are still a kid…
                        so enjoy being a toddler…

                        (shocked upon hearing Jonghyun and Yuri’s voices)
                        oohhh… your aunt and uncle are on their way here…
 

Yuri:                 (loud voice) Kibummie… Minnie… where are you….? 

Jonghyun:       (calling) Minnie….Kibummie…aaiisshh…
                        don’t make it hard for Auntie…

 The two kids go run to their hiding place giggling and making hush sign at Minho saying… 

“Umma….sshhh…”

  Jonghyun and Yuri upon seeing Minho who is preparing things for the picnic, both smile and ask…

 
   Yuri:                 (happy tone) Wwhooaa… Minho!
                           You have become so skillful at this… you know…
                           so motherly that I am pretty embarrassed
                           that you know so much better than me…
                           Umma befits you well than Appa…
                           No wonder Minnie decided to
                           call you Umma instead of Appa…

                          (shakes her head) This is really embarrassing…
                          Minho-ssi…aaiisshhh…
                          I wonder how will I turn out when the time comes…
 

Jonghyun:       Honey… I love how you take care of me and us…
                       I didn’t marry you just so I want you
                       to become a perfect wife… I love you just like this…

                       (pulls Yuri’s chin) Let me kiss you to sweep
                       those troubles away….
 

Yuri:                 (embarrassed) Seriously Jonggie…

 The two kids who are currently hiding make faces upon hearing their Uncle Jonghyun declaring his love for Yuri – Kibummie suddenly makes a remark…

Kibummie:       (shaking his head) Minnie… Ankle Jonggie…
                       cho muccttthhh…cheessshy…aaaiiiggoo… 

Minnie:            (nods) I know…tsalk tsoo musshh…

 
Minho, Jonghyun and Yuri hearing what the two kids just said laugh noiselessly but all pretend they did not hear and excited to talk more to listen to kid’s remarks …Yuri asking Minho…

Yuri:                 Minho-ssi have you seen…Kibummie and Minnie…
                        Jonggie and I have been looking for them for fifteen minutes
                        and we have no idea where they are hiding…

 Jonghyun:       yeah… yeah… I am already tired… 

                        (looks at Minho who is dying of laughter then
                        taps him to play along with them)
                        Minho-ssi have you seen them…?
 

Minho:             ooohh… nnnooo… sorry… I did not see them…
                       perhaps they are outside playing or perhaps
                       inside the library room reading… 

Yuri:                 (whining voice) aaaiissh… Jonggie…
                        I am so tired already… we need to find them…
                        we still have to get them ready for today’s picnic…

                        (then prompts Jonghyun to act lovery-dovery again)
                        Jonggie…. Comfort me…please…
 

Jonghyun:       (changes his tone to a disgustingly cute tone)
                       oooohh…Honey… sure… wait…

Meanwhile Minho who is laughing the entire time secretly pointing to Jonghyun and Yuri where exactly the two kids are located; so that, Yuri and Jonghyun move near where the kids are hiding. The couple pretending to act tired and whining – Yuri says…

Yuri:                 (pouting and in a whiny voice) aawwsshhh… Minnie…
                         where is Kibummie and Minnie the second…
                         I am so tired now…

                        (winking at Minho to act as well) aaiiisshhh …
                         Minnie… have you seen them?
 

Meanwhile Kibummie and Minnie are laughing after hearing Yuri complaining continuously looking for them – both whispering…

Minnie:            (giggling) Bummie… auntsie ish funnee… hear tsat…? 

Kibummie:       (covering his mouth) Minnee…I know…
                       shee ish ferry funnee… lech noch go outchide… 

Minnie:            (nods) okie…be qwauit…

The three who can hear the two kids talking are secretly laughing and almost to the point of giving up because of the twin’s cuteness… Minho firstly says…

Minho:             Yuri… what do you think…
                        if you don’t find those two cute mice…
                        shall we not push through we the plan…?

                       (turns to look at Jonghyun) Right Jonggie…?
 

Jonghyun:       (nods and makes his voice louder) Yeah…
                        I think that is the best thing that we must do
                       – if the two limping lizards would not show up…
                        let’s postpone today’s picnic…

                       (thinks) hhmmm are we not supposed to go to the
                       best theme park in Paris and yeah…
                       Minho-ssi I remember you told me…
                       will also go to the Parc Floral de Paris or perhaps
                       at Luxembourg Palace…

                      (groans) ooohh…what a waste….
 

Yuri:                (whiningly says) Ooohh… Minnie…
                       I guess the two hyenas are not interested…
 

Inside the cabinet counter the twins gasp as to how they are being described by them…Minnie saying first…

Minnie:            (lips puckered) Kimmie… did you hear tshat…?
                       We arr mishe, lichards and hinas…
                      
                        (lightly hitting Kibummie’s knee) eeehhhh…?
 

Kibummie:       (surprised by Minnie’s hit unconsciously shouts)
                        AAwwshhhh…itch huwchs…Minnie…

Minho gasps in surprise while Yuri and Jonghyun both tweak glancing at the bottom part of the fixture – Yuri immediately says…

Yuri:                 (still in an acting mode) Jonggie…
                        did you hear what I just heard…? 

Jonghyun:       (nods) Yeah...! Minho-ssi… did you hear that…? 

Minho:             (laughing) Yeah…I did… I wonder where it came from…? 

And Kibummie and Minnie….still downunder… 

 

Minnie:            (rubs the part where she had hit Kibummie)
                       aaawww shorry…Bummiee…

                       (sets her forefinger on her lips and says)
                       ssshhh… shoofly…your voish tsoo laawdd…
 

Kibummie:       (gasps and nods) oke…oke…shorry choo…

                       (looks at Minnie seriously and says)
                       I chink we now go ouch becosh pitnit no more…
 

Minnie:            (agreeing says) aaiiggwwwoo… okie…

                       (goes out of the cabinet and in a pouting manner whines)
                       Umma…Aunchie…Ankle… ssshooo meeeeenn…
                       Bummie and I arr nosh mishe, lishards and hinas…
 

Kibummie:       (nods)  uhum…yeth..
