Then the time comes for them to render their speech; first is Jonghyun who gasps in surprise as soon as hearing Patrick voice on the intercom saying…

“Mr. Jonghyun, it is your turn,
please be ready and congratulations…”

Jonghyun fighting his nervousness, taps his chest and drinks water, anxiously waiting while the compartment is transporting him to the point where he will be rendering his speech then suddenly jerks upon feeling that the compartment is being elevated and while in the process, he’d breathe in breathe out to calm himself down then Patrick speaks again saying…

“Mr. Jonghyun, please listen,
I will be leaving the intercom open for you to hear
Mr. Onew introducing you.
And when it finishes, the compartment will instantly open
and emplace you to the exact location.
A place where you will speak exactly at the center of the
huge conference hall;
you may visualize it like a dome…

Last thing; please pick the earpiece which is on the
table beside you.

Put it in your ear, I or someone will speak to help or
guide incase you might be under a nervous attack
and loses the concentration”

“Thank you Patrick”
says Jonghyun…

“You are most welcome, Mr. Jonghyun…”
responds Patrick…

After Patrick voice vanishes, the next firm voice echoes – Onew’s voice which Jonghyun hears the latter introducing him. Jonghyun readies himself for his turn then progressively everything is moving – the base where he’s standing is being moved to a different location as well as the compartment that transport him gradually moves away from him – exactly as been told; he is at the center of a round ascending hall with audiences as been told too – heads from different KPK’s business industries. Jonghyun gulps at the sight but keeps a brave stature and delivers his thank you speech…

Jonghyun so wrapped up that he when he finishes; he is unable to grasp of what is going on until Onew leads him away from the center and guides him where he should be seated…He relaxes upon Onew’s hands tapping his shoulder saying…

“You’ve done well, I can see that you did not hear
them applauding you –
I understand, you were pretty nervous…

(pointing to Jonghyun’s seat)
Please relax and be comfortable…
You many now take a deep breath and enjoy
the next inductee which is Minho.
Will you be alright…?”

“(nodding) Yes… Onew hyung…thank you so much…
My mind is absolutely blank right now.
I can’t stay focus – I was so nervous that I just went on and on talking…but…

(shaking his body responsibly) I am alright now hyung…
thanks again…”

Soon as Jonghyun bows, Onew leaves and readies the audience for the next person to be inducted; he now gives the audience a brief introduction about Minho’s profile and attainnments…

Meanwhile on Minho’s side same instructions are given to him by Patrick who asks for an additional request to wear spectacles - now, wearing the earpiece and the specs as requested – he does not know the reason but follows. On to his current condition, he is experiencing exactly the same emotional feelings like Jonghyun especially that he has never spoken in front of a huge crowd and has always been unsociable in a way.

Minho knows that Taemin is a lot better than him when it comes to being gregarious and funny; while the other can act normal or actually socially syncing in with strangers and around familiar people – Minho could not. He can only be confident when Kibum is around him because he had some purpose of protecting the other…

At this moment, Minho is worried whether other people will like him, whether he is going to make a good impression or be bored by him then not judges him instantly. In fact, many of his worries come from messing up during impromptu intellectual conversation and the unwillingness to push his boundaries. Thus right now for the sake of being worthy of Kibum, he is willing to address his issues little by little and talking in front of a huge crowd is not considered little by little but he is determined to at least overcome his one weaknesses – stage fright.

Sensing the compartment is elevating and near to his extreme challenge, Minho closes his eyes and focused on the things he has to do, abruptly his eyes open upon hearing Onew’s voice echoing the entire area; his anxieties are building up thus pretty aware of his condition, wriggles his body and takes a deep breath and says…

“I am terribly nervous and I am aware of it and
acknowledging my own bodily sensations when
I am feeling awkward and anxious.
My adrenalin rush is flooding me causing me to run or hide
but this time I need to counter these feelings…

I am going to be alright and I will act calmly and
normal as possible…
I need to be confident…
I am doing this for my sake and Kibum – for our future together…"
So Minho, focuses on the positive outcomes…

After self-talking recognizing his fretfulness and nervousness, he again takes a lot of deep breathings to help him to start getting himself in under control then relaxes. Then, in less than a minute; he is facing a never in his lifetime experience – a mass of knowledgeable and well-experienced people – thousands of them. His initial reaction bows his head and closes his eyes; both arms and legs are shaking tremendously; sweats are easily forming and dripping freely on his temples down to his neck.

In the meantime Jonghyun witnessing the whole scenario of what Minho is undergoing takes pity on his cousin, Minho as he knows how shy and uncomfortable Minho is in front of a huge crowd or strangers. He can only pray that Minho manages to control his fears, saying…

“Minho-ssi, calm down and relax, take a deep breath and
just deliver your speech…
I hope you can hear me…”

Meanwhile, Minho is almost coming close to the point of shutting or crumbling down then suddenly hears a sweet soothing voice, he gasps but manages to control himself, saying…

“Minnie… ssshhh… Bummie here…

Please don’t talk but of course if you do – I can hear you.
For now, just listen carefully and follow to what I will have to say…

Now, open your eyes…
Unfold your speech manual so I can see what’s written on it…

(Minho gasps wondering how Kibum can possibly do it...
then the latter speaks again)...
It is due to the specs you are wearing that I can see
what is going on…
Now, relax and take a deep breath and follow me…”

So Minho follows Kibum’s voice while staring blankly at the audience appearing confident and serious at the same time…

“Thank you and good afternoon everyone.
I am pleased to be here today with three objectives.

One is to thank all of you in advance for the imminent support
you will be providing me starting tomorrow,
and for the many years to come.

Second one is to take pride – forthrightly, about KPK Enterprise.
I can say that being a part of this global enterprise gives me…

A sense of purpose with a good cause…
It gives me motivation to create a better life for everyone.
It is by serving KPK Enterprise that I may be able to serve
and useful to the whole world.

Lastly…”

(soon after Minho follows Kibum with the word, lastly –
the latter’s voice disappears.
And he knows why, now left alone to speak – he continues)

“Lastly, I would like to express gratitude to someone
for being with me…
From then on and up to this moment; thank you…

You are my life thus I am eternally willing to be by your side…
Forever…”
