Arriving In Paris….

The afternoon weather is a bit cold stepping out of the plane’s ladder, they all feel happy and having no trace of fatigue. Then as they all go down, everyone is taken aback when a limo is already waiting for them to send them to the next destination. The couple can only afford to forever gape as to what is going on and has somewhat accustomed themselves to just take everything in without asking each other. 

Soon as they all have gone down, the chauffeur gets out of the car and opens the car door for someone - stepping out of the car is Onew smiling to all of them greeting…

“Good afternoon everyone… I hope you had a nice flight…
please lets all get in as we still have a bit long way to go…”

Everyone bows including Kikwang to show respect to Onew who most of them know except for Yuri, as Kibum’s current trusted right hand. Yuri grasps Jonghyun’s hand so tight making the latter’s quickly glancing at her – understanding the situation, he comes closer and wraps his arms around her waistline to appease her nervousness.

They all get inside the car then after Onew further speaks looking at Minho…

Onew:             Minho and (turns to look the others) everyone we will all be going to Versailles – 
                       it is very near to Paris where you will be working but before we head there…
                       let’s have a tour at KPK’s Headquarter…

Minho:             (absentmindedly replies) Thank you…

Onew surprised by Minho’s reaction smiles and instructs the driver to go the headquarter - in less than an hour; as they reach the place everyone is so shocked to see how huge it is….

The whole area consists of several buildings adjacent to each other connected with a motorized pathway on the ground whereas above the ground, there is a passageway that is also power-driven. The whole area is like a self-reliant city. Onew speaks…

“Everyone welcome to KPK Enterprises Headquarter Number 1…
It is called Spring’s Business Bay - a place others call Business City…
It consists of 50 Towers being constructed in the partial length above sea level - 
as well as on the ground.
The owner of KPK Enterprises has about 20 Headquarters worldwide...
but for some reason as he only disclosed to the business world...
as having two headquarters worldwide and this one particularly belongs to the twenty …
It is called a city - why it is a city?
Because every establishment here supports each building’s needs...
and the people working in this place….
This includes the following establishment, hospitals, recreation, schools,
business towers with each tower identifies a certain industry...
like one tower for all medical ventures, another one for communications ventures…etc….
Imagine “Atlantis” this is how this entire place is called by locales here…
To better explain to you the area… I will show you the model design of this business locality…

They are now heading to a small dome type building which surprises everyone as the area is an all glass building with gold plated sort of pipings around it. They all gasp in surprise and shout at the amazement of the building and embarrassed at the same time when Onew suddenly turns his face to look at them. Entering the building, everyone except for Onew, wonders why the area is dim-lighted however so cozy and beautiful – when Minho is about to ask Onew, the latter walks to the side corner and lets his eyes be scanned then after one more room opens….

The entire largeness of the area is like a computerized operated area with a central unit being the one spewing lasers at every equipment… then Onew speaks…

“This is a self-operated computerized area, which handles...
all types of electric generated machines or equipment - heavy and light.
It also monitors irregularities inside and outside the area...
which may affect the operation as well as the security of all the staffs. 
(He then presses a switch appearing the site map of the entire area)
Here as you will see, are the buildings constructed in this business area...
and the total area size is about 650,000 square-meters.
(looks at Minho) All towers range from having minimum 60 floors to 75 floors maximum...
except for the centerpiece here which the owner holds his office from time to time
- apart from his headquarter somewhere in France as well –
are two-conjoint buildings centerpiece total floors for each building, is 101;
the tallest towers and of course centerpiece is Leaves Towers...
which is located above the sea…(pointing at the area) here…

Minho, I know this is going to be a tough job for you...
but the owner has full trust in your capacity that you need to know...
every detail of all his entire developments –
for a start, KPK management will educate you on all of the owner’s structures – I say, worldwide…
as I was told that he wants to unload some of the things that he monitors  and develops.
He still has pending future development plans that he wants to commence on a soon as possible.

Hearing this, Minho gulps and sweats hard while Jonghyun and Yuri gapes in disbelief over the overwhelming responsibilities that awaits Minho that Jonghyun could not control himself from stating…

Jonghyun:       (panting so hard, stuttering) Mmmm…Mi-Minho…. Did you hear that?
                        I mean the owner has full trust in you… I mean…
                        I wonder who the owner is that he knows you very well to entrust you with... 
                        so enormous responsibilities…
                        (thinking to himself, "If Onew hyung is Kibum's Executive Assistant, probably,
                        Kibum has recommended Minho to the CEO - whooaa! lucky Minho...
                        looks at Minho) Minho… hey… can you hear me? (taps Minho)….

Yuri:                 (butting in) Jonggie…. Honey...
                         I think he is in a state of shock right now…
                         Don’t force him ok?

Onew:             (smiling) Well… He is just showing a normal sign…
                        He will be ok…
                        (taps Minho) Minho…
                        by the way, I met your brother so many times… Taemin…

Minho:             (hearing his brother’s name, awakes him) Wa-what?? Taeminnie…?

Onew:             (Chuckling to the gasping Minho) Yes… Taeminnie…

Minho:             (surprised) How is Taeminnie…
                        He called me several times but we never like chat nor 
                        does he have his own social network accounts…
                        so I really don’t know what is going on with him…

Onew:             (smiles) Oh… Minho… He is absolutely doing fine…
                        aside from studying Music...
                        he has taken courses to widen his knowledge for future use…

Minho:             (raises his eyebrows) what do you mean?

Onew:             (nodding) He is taking up Hospitality Courses...
                        basically targeting fields in Hotel and Restaurant Management,
                        Tourism and minor courses on culinary…
                        He’s really working hard and to be honest,
                        I am very amazed how determine Taemin is,
                        it is like working hard to achieve a goal…

Minho:             (sighs) Yes, I know what you mean ...
                        (looks at Jonghyun) He is really good…

Onew:             (takes a deep breath and looks at everyone) Well, I hope you are all alright...

Minho:             (smiles) Thank you very much Onew hyung…

Onew:             (chuckles) Oh, when we are professionals – don’t call me hyung…
                       first name is fine so get used to calling me Onew… alright?
                       (suddenly looks at Jonghyun) I believe you are Jonghyun…
                       you still remember me?

Jonghyun:       (nods) Yes… It is great to see you again…
                        and by the way, this is my fiancée, Ms. Yuri…

Onew:             (smiles while shaking Yuri’s hand) Nice to meet you Ms. Yuri…

Yuri:                 (smiles) Pleasure is mine… Mr. Onew…

Onew:             (releases his hand and talks to Jonghyun) Jonghyun, welcome aboard too…

Jonghyun:       (surprised and gasps) wha-what do you mean?

Onew:             You will be working for the owner as well…didn’t you know?
                        Where you not informed? 
                        Anyway… the owner has seen your designs so that...
                        he talked to his most trusted person to contact Ms. Sooyoung to offer you the position….

Jonghyun:       (mouth gaping) oh my god!! Minho, did you hear that?
                        We will be working for the same person… that is so awesome… 
                        (looks at Yuri) Yu… this is so great…
                        Don’t worry, I will help you look for a job…
                        you are very talented and I believe our lives here are not going to be a problem…

Onew:             (looks at Yuri) so you are looking for a job too?

Yuri:                (embarrassingly nods) hhhmmm… I apologize but yes…

Onew:             Let me arrange that… 
                       send me your qualifications and we will let you know…

Yuri:                (gasps and squeals) hhmmm… really…
                        I would be very grateful….

Onew:             (thinks and says) anyway, since we are already here…
                        Ms. Yuri, which industries are you expert at?

Yuri:                 (nervously responds) I am a Lawyer actually but has become active
                         in the field of marketing in various industries…like education and health services...

Onew:             (nods and smiles) Oh… if that is so… that is not a problem… 
                        when can you start, if offered?

Yuri:                 (gasps and places here hands on her chest breathing hard)
                        aahh… hmmm… tomorrow…?

Onew:             (smiles) Fine then, that will be arranged… so... 
                        (looks back at the still astounded Minho inspecting the system of the headquarters)
                        Minho….?
                        (repeats when the latter did not response) Minho…? Are you alright?

Minho:             (quickly turns to face Onew… stutters) Yes….. hhhhmm…
                        I am nervous… His faith in me is so much…

Onew:             (smiling and nodding at the same time) I believe so…
                        isn’t that a great thing…?

Minho:             (bows his head) I am speechless…

Their conversation has been momentarily stopped due to the sounds of whirling helicopters’ propellers so that Minho, Jonghyun and Yuri gasp in surprise and speak all at the same time…

“wwhhoaa… what is that?”

“wwhhhaaa”

“oooppss… wha-what is going on?”

Thus, Onew smiles and plainly responds…
 

“He is coming…”
