Several Months passed by….

Still with a positive outlook and intense determination, Taemin has been able to reasonably adapt his self to his surroundings and has manage to gain enough confidence to manage living. independently. Able and powered by his passion, he talks to the owner of the place he is working requesting to give him singing stints once a week – which the place he’s working agrees to his request. Thus, every week, he sings using the following instruments and these are, piano and guitar. Consequently, at the time he started and the next days after, his name has become popular – that the manager of the place, has promotedhim to become a full time performer, performing two times a week and has given option to stop being a steward or waiter, however, Taemin has insisted that he still would want to work as a waiter for his own personal reasons.

Currently, tonight is not his scheduled day to perform but because the singer is ill - he agreed to perform, at his last set of the show while he is singing, the crowd starts to act giddily and excited thus he is feeling bothered by it for the reason that the crowd turns their head from the source completely ignoring him though he doesn’t mind coz customers have freedom to do whatever they want a prerogative to watch him sing and listen intently, listen to him for the purpose of just utilizing his music as their on the side background or completely ignore and just focus the customers have interest in. Luckily since the he started, customers listen to him and pretty getting used to customers listening to him intently this time; he feels uncomfortable having to experience total inattentiveness.

What makes him even more surprised is when some of the club’s lighting effects have been switched off and the other lightings in accordance to the club’s lighting interior have been diffused down a little bit. Then Taemin gasps when additional securities are discreetly requested by the club’s manager to be undertaken; he wonders that his heart is beating faster though acting nonchalantly he could not stop his edginess as to what is going on, as this is the first time in more than a year working in this club that something like this activity is happening. 

Regardless of the situation, Taemin continues to sing beautifully and pays no attention to the crowd’s acting strange and frenzy although he is focused in what he is doing; his eyes are travelling from the source of the crowd’s excitement. Unfortunately, he could not have a proper view of the area hence his stage is brightly lighted while crowds’ area is dimmer this time. Giving up with the idea of discovering everyone’s excitement, he just shrugs it off and continues his performance. Then his down with his one last song of his substitute performance and in the middle of his singing; his eyes accidentally lands at the area where people are fussing about and his heart just stops and quite pretty lucky that this part of his singing is instrumental.

His whole being just sort of wobbles upon seeing Kibum on a disguise sitting on the table while Onew standing heading to the rest room – his eyes widened and blink too fast – feeling excited and happy that it is his last song and nearly done. He knows for sure regardless of whatever disguises Kibum wears, the latter’s eyes and lips especially when he smiles are his best trademarks. While still singing; he secretly roams his eyes and watches Kibum including Onew; he does not let his eyes miss Onew’s coming back on the table accordingly, it is a good thing that it is his last song thus he can be able to make his way of catching Onew. Then his stint finishes, he steps down the stage and nervously walks slowly towards Onew’s location and at arm’s length; he is hesitating whether to approach him or not but he thinks that he needs to coz it might probably take a very long time to have seen Kibum and he feels nervously excited as well as apprehensive as to how to approach Kibum so it is a good thing that the latter is with Onew, successfully enough the latter comes out from the restroom.

Thus, with courage though acting precarious, he approaches Onew…

Taemin:           (voice quivering) hhhmmm… Onew hyung… remember me? I am Taemin…

Onew:             (smiles) Of course I do… I never thought I will meet you in this place… so how are you?
                       But I have a feeling that Kibum knows already…

Taemin:           (exhales loudly) can I join you?

Onew:             (nods) sure…. Sure… please do… come with me. Kibum is with me… Have you seen him?

Taemin:           (nods) Yeah, I could recognize him quite easily despite of his appearance…

Onew:             (laughs) wow… really… I didn’t recognize him at first… 
                        Long time relationship really is something you can’t discount of…
                       (waves at Taemin) come along…let’s meet him… you want to eat?

Taemin:           (shakes head) ooh… no… this place is like an extension of my home kitchen…
                        They have been really good to me…

Onew:             (nods) Oh… I am very glad to hear that… 
                       (glances where Kibum is) Taemin, let’s wait here for a bit, Kibum is currently going inside
                       the private room…
                       By the way, I heard you are quite popular here…

Taemin:           (shock) Oh… Thank you very much…
                        Honestly I am just working really hard to achieve my dream and I am very thankful to the
                        club manager for giving me the chance to let me try practicing my skills here…

Onew:             (waves his hand as a “no” gesture) Oh… don’t belittle yourself, I watched you perform and
                        you are very good…
                        You see there is a saying that practice makes things perfect…

Taemin:           (smiles and nods) yeah… thank you…

Onew:             Are you able to adapt with the lifestyle here?

Taemin:           (nods) little by little… I am taking French Language Lesson continuously and I do have a
                        plan to take up after special seminar class or short course lessons…

Onew:             (surprised) Ohh… that is great to hear and what would that be?

Taemin:           (serious tone) I am thinking of taking short course study in the field of Hotel and Restaurant
                        Management.
                        I find this field very exhilarating – serving people and making them happy is really a good 
                        feeling…

Onew:             (smiles) hhhmmm… that is nice…

Taemin:           (thinks) Onew hyung?…hhmm..

Onew:             (looks straight at Taemin) What is it, Taemin?

Taemin:           (looks seriously at Onew) Forgive me in asking this but how is Key hyung?

Onew:             (sighs) Kibum… how shall I say this….
                        Never in my time of working for him… have I seen him relaxing…
                        It is like his life is all about work and no fun…

Taemin:           (nods) yeah…  even before he has been already like that…
                        I really do miss him… I wish I can be with him…

Onew:             (nods) Oh … you can… why not… but in the meantime…
                        My unsolicited advice for you is … really work hard… and learn so many things…
                        I believe you know Kibum’s has a variety of businesses and who knows you might fit in any
                        business category he runs…
                        You’ll never know…

Taemin:           (smiles) Thank you Onew hyung for the advice … I will work hard and learn more…
                        Key hyung really is something… Honestly, me and Minho hyung do not have any idea
                        what he is doing however, we would have thought of discovering it by asking from our
                        parents or perhaps by chance, well, we probably know a few but my parents know a lot
                        from Aunt Jessica and Uncle Heechul that even if we begged for information about Key
                        hyung we failed.
                        My parents are so loyal to Aunt Jessica and Uncle Heechul…especially to Key hyung…

Onew:             (shocked) Really… I thought…

Taemin:           (shaking his head) No…. no… and to tell you frankly, as his close friends we don’t really
                        pry on his life’s affair.
                        We love him as who he is and not for what he has and he does…
                        We are just lucky to have known and be someone like Key hyung…

Onew:             (nods) I do admire him too… he is just from another level…
                        I was trained to support him in his endeavours… but I think I can never surpass him…
                        He is just so brilliant…

Taemin:           (smiles) oh… yeah… we heard that a lot from my parents as well as mine…

Onew:             Taemin… thank you for waiting… let’s see...
                        (checks on Kibum) oh… he’s back come let’s go and meet him ….

Taemin:           (surprised and excited) Oh… I am sorry for the bother….

Taemin follows behind Onew both of them walking to the direction where Kibum is located; he could see at a fair distance that the crowd has not stopped wondering who is the beautiful alluring person alone sitting on the table, it is a good thing that Kibum brought bodyguards otherwise, it could have been a disastrous mob with no guards protecting him as the in-house guard would not suffice for someone like Kibum. Then suddenly taken aback when Onew responds back…

Onew:             (shocked) Oh… you are not being a bother…
                       It is even good that your stint is finished and for that you would have enough time to join me
                       and Kibum… but I am really sad that we can only stay for short time though but it would
                       depend on him if we have to go now…

Taemin:           (sighs but smiles) Hyung… you are most welcome… 
                        I am just happy that I am meeting and seeing Kibum once again for the nth time of hoping
                        and wishing…you know…by the way, hyung in your spare time…
                        You can come freely…

Onew:             (smiles) of course… in my free time… 
                        I will sure drop by and I will let Kibum know everytime we meet …

Taemin:           (so happy that his voice raises) Oh… really… hyung??

Onew:             (smiles) Of course… but I think from what I presume and knowing someone like Kibum, he
                        already must have an idea… where you are and what you are doing….

Taemin:           (beams) you think so?

Onew:             (nods and smiles) uhum… so just be good…

Taemin:           (suddenly hugs Onew) Thanks hyung….
                        You just don’t know what this means to me… thank you…

Onew:             (shocked but smiles) oh… no worries…
                       (looks at Kibum’s situation) oh… he’s ready… 
                       (sighs) it really is something being with Kibum...
                       (opens his palm and points at Kibum’s location) these people are captivated by his 
                       presence…
                       I told him to disguise into an ugly person but he chose a woman’s appearance making it
                       harder….
                       Just look at him, he still looks phenomenal in that get up….
                       (sighs) aaiisshh….so I will see you around then…coz when you talk with Kibum, we might
                       not have a chance to talk, ok?

Taemin:           (nods vigorously) Oh… yes… yes… hyung… drop by anytime…or you may call me if you
                        want…
                        (gets his mobile) can I have your number?

Onew:             (nods) sure…
                       (then he gives his mobile number)… ok… go ahead and just leave me here…see you… 
                       (waves hand) thanks…

Taemin:           (waves hands too) thank you hyung….
