And one fine day, Minho seeks Jonghyun’s advice …

Minho:             Hyung… there is something I need to talk to you about…

Jonghyun:       (in a worrying tone) go on… tell me…

Minho:             Yuri is telling me that we need to move ahead with our relationship meaning getting on a
                        more serious level… I want to try it out hyung… what do you think?

Jonghyun:       (forcing a smile) if you feel that it is right for you then go for it but are you not supposed to
                       do and accomplish your dream…?

Minho:             (sadder tone) I don’t think hyung that it is ever going to happen so …
                       (sighs) I am alright with things that are realistic for me…

Jonghyun:       (surprised) wwhhoaa Minho… you surely have grown maturely… that’s great!... Well, if that
                        is what you want… then you have my support… so what is your plan?

Minho:             she said that she’ll be okay with us living together… so I guess… the idea of living in is
                        pretty alright for the time being…. And perhaps marriage will come next... I mean… let’s
                        wait and see…

Jonghyun:       (shocked) wwhhoaa!!! Stop please… stop for a moment… take it slow Minho… slow
                       down…okay… you are so fast…

Minho:             (chuckling) Hyung… this is life… I may want to have a family of my own someday you
                        know… now that I am capable to raise one…. And you… what is your plan?

Jonghyun:       well if ever that happens… I might go travel abroad and make use of my talent…

Minho:             (gasps) oohh… pretty nice there hyung...
                        (does a thumbs up gesture) awesome!!

Jonghyun:       (puffs) wait… before I forgot… Minho-ssi, there’s a mail for you… It’s on the living room
                       table…

Minho:             Thanks hyung…

Minho excitedly proceeds to the living room area and opens the envelope, gasping he calls for Jonghyun…

Minho:             (shouting) Jonghyun hyung!! Come quick…

Jonghyun:       (lazy tone) aaaiisshhh Minho, don’t shout I can clearly hear you from here… what??

Minho:             (more louder tone) HYUNG!! Come!!

Jonghyun:       (annoyed) fine… fine… just shut up… what is it??

Minho:             (panting) Read this… oh my god… hyung…

Jonghyun:       (reads the mail and gasps) !! Minho how could that be your first time job so awesome…
                       an apprentice job suddenly recognizing your efforts and an invitation to work for a much
                       bigger company …. How did this happen…?

Minho:             (wondering) I…no…clue…
                        (gets the letter)… how…?

Jonghyun:       (cringes face) what the heck, Minho! You have only started working for them and now they
                       are considering you to work at one of their companies abroad? And how come you don’t
                       have any clue how it happened? Aaiisshh… seriously Minho…

Minho:             (retorts back on a surprised voice) yyyaahh… hyung what do you think of me hyung…
                        lying? Of course, I am telling the truth … but wait hyung… look ...
                        (shows the letter) it does not say what is the name of the company…

Jonghyun:       (stressing his point) regardless though, the letter is coming from your company so probably
                        I am thinking “through” the company…so I am asking again, how did it happen? Minho-ssi, 
                        don’t you realize it, this is perhaps a super big break for you…

Minho:             (waving his hand like a fan) Honestly, I don’t have any … I need to check this out… this is
                        so awesome hyung….. but I have to go the office… I need to let my superior know of this…

The next day, Minho feeling energized and thrilled about his current luck, goes directly to his superior’s office, Kang Ta…

Minho:             Good morning Sir, do you have a minute…

Kang Ta:         (smiles) Good morning too…sure come in Minho…

Minho:             hhmm… yesterday, I receive a mail from a reputable company inviting me to work for
                        them…Sir, do you have anything to do with this?

Kang Ta:         (makes a big “O” shape lips) oohh… that one… we also have a copy of that mail… I don’t
                        have anything to do with it… I don't believe it is purely coincidental …and that company is
                        our mother unit… this company you are working right now is just a subsidiary…

Minho:             (shocked) Oohh… I did not know about our company having a mother unit, sir?

Kang Ta:         Yes… our CEO has decided to create sub-units other than the large units, to service small
                        to medium scale projects for the purpose of adjusting to our clients’ needs and allowing 
                        them to make a start with their projects. You see, small businessmen are hesitant and
                        afraid to deal with large companies for the fear of thinking that since their projects are
                        small – they’d presume that these large companies will just take their projects for
                        granted…

Minho:             But Sir… how did they know about my existence… I mean I am just a beginner in this
                        company… I don’t think I have created a huge impact yet…

Kang Ta:         (smiles) Oh… don’t belittle yourself Minho… though you are young… you are good… your 
                        ideas are refreshing… so I guess someone or the CEO must have seen and liked your
                        designs… but for whatever motivations other than what I presume could be the reasons… I
                        don’t have any idea Minho… Are you not happy?

Minho:             (shakes) I am very happy Mr. Kang Ta… I can not even explain the feeling…  not in my
                        wildest dreams I never even thought of working for a company as huge...
                        (raises the letter) as this…

Kang Ta:         (smiles) well… you have to be prepared… cause they will call you anytime soon…

Minho:             Sure Mr. Kang Ta… Thank you very much… I will take my leave now…

Kang Ta:         You are most welcome Minho… for the meantime, gain whatever knowledge you can learn
                        here more… you will need them someday…

Minho:             Thank you Mr. Kang Ta (bows and leaves the room)…

Kang Ta:         You sure are very lucky Minho….

After the good news, he hurriedly calls Yuri to invite her for a dinner…

Minho:             Yuri… I think luck is on my side this time…

Yuri:                 (smiles) Why… what about it?

Minho:             I have a very good offer coming but for the meantime, our office is telling me to continue
                        working for them until the time arrives…

Yuri:                 (elated and kisses Minho on the lips) Oh… I am so happy for you… aahh...
                        (embarrassed by her actions) sorry… I was just carried away…

Minho:             (chuckles) that is all right… I am happy that you did that…

Yuri:                 (shocked) really?

Minho:             (nods) yeah… and the main reason why I have invited you for a dinner is that I have been
                        thinking about what you said to me before…

Yuri:                 (fidgety) and?

Minho:             (smiles) I think we can move ahead with our relationship…

Yuri:                 (hugs Minho) Thank you Minho… I love you so much…

Minho:             (chest tightens) uughgh…

Yuri:                 (surprised) what happened?

Minho:             (acts nonchalantly) oh… perhaps when you said that I became excited that I could not 
                        breathe...
                        (in his mind he thinks, “why did it hurt so much… what was that?” then hugs Yuri…)
                        We can live together now…

Yuri:                 (looks at Minho) Oh… but don’t worry, don’t pressure about getting married… it is too
                         early to even think about it… let’s just enjoy being each other together… plus I still have a 
                         career to pursue with..

Minho:             (smiles) sure… Yuri… so do you like to move in with me? We can stay in my room…

Yuri:                 (nods) but please inform your parents about it alright… I don’t want them to be thinking 
                        badly of me… but Minho?

Minho:             yeah?

Yuri:                 Do you have a guest room? Coz if you have, I suggest, we use that instead of your room…

Minho:             (shrugs his shoulders off) ok… if that is what you like… but for your info, Jonghyun hyung
                        will be living with us… alright...

Yuri:                 (gasps) oh… Jonghyun? Is he living with you?

Minho:             (chuckles) about more than or almost three years now I suppose..

Yuri:                 (slaps Minho) Why didn’t I know that?

Minho:             You never did ask…

Yuri:                 ooohhh… Jonghyun… I thought … he is somewhere out of the country… I remember him
                        saying he wants to pursue a career in singing as well…

Minho:             (surprised) did he tell you that… how come I did not know about it… as far as I remember
                        he told me about the possibility of exploring to other countries…oh… well?

Yuri:                 How are he and Hyuna… did their relationship go well?

Minho:             Oh… I think nothing happened coz he likes a woman who carries herself well and
                        confident…he is a great designer and yeah… his singing voice is so good… if he wants to
                        focus in singing – I believe he’d be good at it and definitely become famous someday… he
                        is also good looking but not as tall as am though…well let me see… woman he likes…
                        aahh… pretty much like... 
                         (pointing to her) You…

Yuri:                 (blushing) yyaahh… 
                        (waves her hand on her face) don’t do that… I am not confident… I am pretty simple…

Minho:             I don’t think so… Jonghyun hyung is a very nice person… generous and selfless person…
                        I believe that night when both of you were introduced to me… prior to that, I remember him
                        saying something about you…I remember that night you were wearing red tight skirt and a
                        black top..right?

Yuri:                 (anxiously excited) yeah… wow… you have a good memory…

Minho:             (smiles) of course I have… so anyway… he said something like this point by point…
                        “Minho, I like this girl so much… the one wearing a red tight skirt…she is simple yet carries
                        herself very well but I think she would look good with you… be good to her”

Yuri:                 (indignantly smiles) oohh… he said that? Hhmm… so that was how it happened…

Minho:             (quickly glances at Yuri) why … did something happen along that time when hyung were
                        talking to you during that night?

Yuri:                 (shakes her head) hhmm No… nothing…
                        (and stares at the sky and says) Minho… the sky is so clear and sparkling…look! 
                        (then she says to herself “coz I thought you were supposed to introduce Hyuna to him and
                        not to me… silly Jonghyun… what a pabo”… and smiles…)… nice isn’t it?

Minho:             Yeah… (looks at Yuri) so when would you like to move in?

Yuri:                 (continuously stares at the sky) this weekend… would be great!!
                        (looks at Minho) ok!

Minho:             (nods) fine then…

Before the coming weekend, Minho calls his parents about his personal plans…

“Mom… there is something I must tell you… but before that I am doing fine with my job…
(panting)…Mom… I am going to be with someone soon … her name is Yuri”

“We are not planning to get married yet… no plans…so I can not tell right now but for the meantime… it would be nice to spend with her…It is lonely without all of you around… you know but now I guess it is going to be different”

“Mom, are you crying… oohh… be happy for me Mom…”

“yeah… Jonghyun hyung is still with me… but I think he has plans to leave the country for his future endeavors… but there is no specific time in his mind yet as to when he will leave...”

“Thank you… please tell Daddy… and extend my deepest regards to Aunt Jessica and Uncle Heechul…I hope you are all fine…”

“Take care Mom…I love you and I miss you”
