Minho almost chokes his food upon hearing Taemin’s mentioning Paris quickly swallows his food and gawks at his brother. He could not utter a single word against his younger brother; he knows the real reason – to follow Bummie… He thought all the while that Taemin had gotten over his feelings towards Bummie as he was able to recover from the pain of separation and moving on so quickly. 

And this time, he has never imagined how intense Taemin’s love for Bummie to the point of following him in Paris … ironic too, ahead of him. Minho could not even withdraw from his plan of searching for a job to gain experience – if he will have to take on bravely enough, he would have wanted to look for a job in Paris but he is not confident yet as he’s practical know-how is zero… He’s suddenly awakens from thinking deep when his mother speaks…

Sooyoung:       Taemin… why Paris?

Taemin:           Mom, aside from other famous countries – Paris is a good place for me to study Arts…

Leeteuk:          Well Taemin, I respect you but you might want to consider New York or London…

Taemin:           Thanks Dad, but I still prefer Paris…

Sooyoung:       Well if that is what you want then we will have to look for a place for you to stay in Paris…

Taemin:           Don’t worry about some of the other expenses – I plan to take part time jobs to support me
                        while studying there…

Leeteuk:          Can you manage son?

Taemin:           (chuckling) Dad, sure I can… I don’t mind working whatever job I can find…

Sooyoung:       (looks at Leeteuk) Dear, is he fascinating as well… I am so proud of you two

                        (looks at Minho and Taemin)… so Taemin, when do you plan to leave…

Taemin:           A month after my graduation…

Leetuek:          I propose that we all go to Paris to look for a place for Taemin and

                       (looks at Minho) Minho… it is also a good time for you to rest for a bit, don’t you think?

Minho:             (stutters) aah-ahh… oh-yeah… I would like to go too

                        (looks at Taemin in a questionable manner)… If that is all right…

Taemin notices his brother’s gaze but ignores it and continues eating.  He is currently leaping in excitement right now – going to Paris to follow Kibum has been his major plan after the separation, he focused on doing well in his studies to get good grade results so that his parents would have no objection as regards what plans he will do next. He doesn’t know where Kibum is located or housed but he is confident that one day he will bump into Kibum and sees him… Taemin smiles discretely and in a dreaming state gazes at somewhere blankly…

Sooyoung notices Taemin smiling at nothing and it bothers her not on a negative note but for Minho – she knows the real reason why her youngest son wants to study abroad, she looks at Minho, who is currently eating in silence feeling sad… It worries her that she doesn’t want to take the risk of even going further to argue with Taemin about considering other countries apart from Paris – as it would be quite obvious that it would turn out favoring either of them – so she just lets either of them acts on their own resolution and gives support…

Meanwhile, unknown to everyone is Leeteuk’s observation about the whole scenario; he is just trying to be subservient as to the unspoken friction between Minho and Taemin as they have not shown any unpleasant behaviors towards each other. Leeteuk believes that either Minho or Taemin has accepted and respected each other’s level of great love towards Key and each is doing their own thing secretly to get to Key.

However, he could not stop himself from worrying at Minho; he knows how his eldest son adores Key so much – it is almost to a point of accepting a fact that Minho loves Key more than them and they are fine with that. However, he could not even afford to stop Taemin in pursuing what he wants – the latter knows how to play his cards very well. Regardless of how and when each of the two had met Kibum is not even a justifiable reason for an argument. Leeteuk sighs and says to himself,

“Aaahh I wish each of you good luck… work hard to obtain what you wish for”

Minho on the other hand is trying hard to control not to be overwhelmed with sadness – though he is frustrated, he admires Taemin’s tenacity on matters he sees fit. No matter how he denies it, his heart is breaking and hoping that one day he can also be with Kibum – the most important person in his life. Despite the consequences, he will make sure that he is beside Kibum regardless of how their future standing may turn out to be.

Thus, right now – he will accept whatever things that are happening and continuously prepares himself for the moment he faces Kibum and makes the latter proud of what he has become. At this affirmation, Minho smiles and calms his previous nerve wracking internal uncertainty and battle.

Sooyoung seeing Minho’s smiles exhales loudly and smiles at Leetuek – both seem like have a mutual understanding of what has happened in Minho.  Leeteuk winks at Sooyoung and holds her hands for assurance – in sort of mental telepathy, saying…

“Everything is going to be alright”…

Months have passed; Minho has gotten a job at an architectural firm first as an apprentice but after three months of proving himself, has landed a good position – giving him new exposures and better experiences. In one fine day after office hours – on the way home, he by chance passes a magazine stand; Minho having quick eyes sees Kibum’s mom name, Jessica, on the magazine – he suddenly stops and buys the magazine. Overwhelmed with excitement, reaching home, Minho starts to read the article about what is going on with the Kim’s family and hoping that somehow a sort of unplanned article of Kibum’s name might be mentioned.

Before, he had guessed that since Kibum’s grandfather was a well-known respected world-wide business; he thought that if Kibum would replace his grandfather, he’d always be in the news in any of the media organizations however now, though he is happy and at the same time much to his dismay none of Kibum’s name appeared for the past many years. He remembers at one time in Denmark, he asked Kibum about…

Minho:             Bummie, I know when you go to Paris to take over your grandfather; you will also be
                        famous like him. Your name will be all over media and besides that, you will be invited in a
                        lot TV guestings and special appearances. Your beautiful face will be printed in all various
                        types of magazines and newspaper.

                        Remember (looks at Kibum) in our school, everybody adores you, because you look like a
                        god at times mistaken as a goddess and when you Mr. Siwon, informed everyone that you
                        left the school for good… I have been asked several times as regards your whereabouts,
                        what happened to you…etc…

                        (sighs) you really are well-loved….

                        How much more if the whole world knows about you…

                        (takes a deep breath) I bet you will forget about me… then if that is the case, you will meet
                        a lot of different people especially…

                        (a pang of jealousy) ladies…

Kibum:             (sighs and smiles) Minnie, come over here… lie beside me…

Minho:             (query tone) wh-what Bummie?

Minho crawls going towards Kibum with a questionable look on his face almost looking like a lost puppy. Kibum chuckling staring at Minho, waves his hand and asks him to extend his right hand, so Minho does what he is asked to, extends his right arm and gasps when Kibum lies on it and smiles – he even is more surprised when Kibum nuzzles on his neck. In addition, Kibum lifts his left legs, spreads across Minho’s waist and raises his left hand and rests it at Minho’s right ear and fondles it and says,

“I don’t think so…”

Minho gapes, his face goes as red as a beetroot and his body feels hot, bites his lower lip and takes a deep breath… at the same time Kibum additionally says,

“Minnie, your body becomes suddenly warm…hmmmm… I like it…”

Nuzzles his face deeper in Minho’s neck…

thus Minho face tweaks and catches for air…

“aahhh… Bummie”..

Kibum:             (inhales) yeah… Minnie what is it…

Minho:             (makes a face) oh… nothing… Bummie…

Kibum:             (takes a deep breath, raises his body and stands on four above Minho) Fine… fine…
                        Minnie… just in case Bummie forgets you in the process for some unavoidable reasons,
                        be patient to let me remember all the times we have spent together… I believe you know
                        what I want and how to deal with me… right?

Minho:             (hums) but not everything…

Kibum:             (sighs) you really don’t have to know me too much coz people change as they grow… you
                        know…so, just be patient … no matter what happens… I believe I will definitely and
                        always remember you…

                        (pecks Minho’s lips and hugs him tightly)…so relax… I love you Minnie….

Minho:             (says to himself, “But I am in love with you Bummie…. So in love with you for so long) I will
                        always be patient with you Bummie against all odds…

Smiling to himself, Minho takes a deep breath, closes the magazine and looks for his car on his way to their home.  When he reaches home, he is shocked with the ruckus that is going on… suddenly he hears his name….

MINHO…..MINHO…!!!
