Inside JP Owen’s Private Office…

They all gather at the conference table to discuss issues needing immediate actions, thus, Owen presiding the meeting, starts talking …

Owen:             Everyone, as I have told you previously; I will be transferring all of my entire businesses in 
                       Bummie’s name – Mr. Kangin here is preparing all the necessary transfer documents I
                       need to sign and from the moment I sign, Bummie will be the sole owner of all my
                       businesses…

I am also aware that Bummie has his own businesses being solely established by him globally but geographically not in competition with all of your businesses as well as mine, (looks at Kibum in a pleading manner) Bummie sweetie for everyone’s information, could you let your parents know the various businesses you have established, how many countries and how many branches for each business and country… (looks at the surprised everyone) he can name a few… 

Kibum:             (embarrassed and looks at Jessica and Heechul) hhhmmm… do I need to Papa?

Instead of Owen responding to Kibum…

“YES!! Bummie… tell us please”

“SON…. What on earth…of course… we need to know…”

his parents surprisingly respond…

Kibum:             Ok… I can name according to business type and how many branches each one has…in
                        an alphabetical order….just a few… I will state it in this order; business type – number of
                        branches each country – number of branches in total …. I can provide you a list after…

I have manufacturing and consulting services for Advertising, Arts and Crafts, Autos or Transportations, Beauty Care/Personal Care, Business Services, Children’s Needs Businesses, some Computer Software and Hardware, Education/Schools/Universities, Entertainment/Events, Financial, Food, Health Care/Medical Hospitals, Home Products, Import/Export, etc…

Those I have decided not to establish are Oil and Gas, Weaponry, Space and Satellites, Online/Website businesses, and Fashion Industry but instead I opened Consultancy Services supporting Papa, Mom and Dads’ businesses…

I also have Building Materials, Construction Companies, Maintenance, Plants/Agricultures, Recreation, Real Estate, Technology, etc….

Approximately I have twenty seven businesses from 50 to 500 branches in each country that would be in 170 countries totaling to more than six to seven thousand branches worldwide...hhmm… I think… Mr. Taeyang would know… he keeps track of everything I have established…

After Kibum has spoken, his parents, Jessica and Heechul look at each other and both at the same time scream,

“WHAT!! BUMMIE!!”

And Owen adding,

“And to tell you honestly, if you combine all of my businesses in comparison to that of his – mine is just perhaps a fraction - like fifty per cent of Bummie’s businesses. Therefore, I have been thinking why not give all of what I have – sort of integrating everything of what I have and he has in one managing company then it is much easier to handle – don’t you think? And you know, the reason why I am giving him all that I have – is primarily because it has always been him who is managing most of my businesses and under his strategic organization – the conservative projected profit has been achieved”

Jessica:           (pouts) Bummie… why you never tell us about this important information regarding what
                        you have been doing lately… your Dad and I are always left in the dark unaware…

Kibum:             (bows his head) I am so sorry Mom and Dad; I just don’t want to let the both of you keep
                        worrying on the things that I do…

Heechul:          (sighs) seriously Bummie… what else do we have to know… your Mom and I will greatly
                        appreciate it if you could inform us details of what you do…Next time…. Perhaps in the 
                        future… and we are not mad at you but sad that you don’t trust us…

Kibum:             (raises his face to look at his father) I am so sorry Daddy… (walks and hugs Heechul)… I
                        am really so sorry but you know I have been very careful not to compete with you and
                        Mom’s businesses… and if I tell you... I know for sure both of you will be against to what I
                        am doing... coz I assumed you'd think I am tiring myself...

Heechul:          (sighs) Aaiisshh… I am not worried at all coz I know if that happens… I will surely dig into
                        finding out who is my competitor… (releases Kibum’s hug to face him) but really this time
                        Bummie…. Let us know… alright? And you are right... coz for pete's sake Bummie... you
                        are still very young to worry about these things....but (breathes hard) what can I say.... I
                        just want you to enjoy your youth....

Jessica:           (embraces Kibum) Sweetie… your Dad is right... and of course, we can never get mad at 
                        you… excited yeah… (raise Kibum’s chin) I miss my diva-ish Bummie when he was a
                        kid… gosh… I wish you are still like that…

Kibum:             (smiles) oh… Mom… I am still like that… now that everything has been revealed by our
                        gorgeous (looks at his grandfather and glares at him) Papa …. I have nothing to be afraid 
                        of… (looks at his grandfather again) So… Papa let’s continue…

JP Owen:        (smiles) Thanks Bummie… Oh… dearest daughter… Bummie has the same venomous-
                        tongue like you dear…

Jessica:           (glares at her father) Oh…Daddy… I am very nice… I speak only nice…

JP Owen:        (gasps) Ohh… I am so happy now… (serious mode) ok… let’s proceed…I will start the
                        transition by today (calls on Kangin), Mr. Kangin do you have all of the documents we 
                        need to sign?

Kangin:            Yes, Master Owen…

JP Owen:        (smiles) Alrighty then… have them prepared on the table in order…

Kangin:            Yes, Master Owen…

While everyone is discussing about what to do next, Kangin and Taeyang prepare the entire necessary documents for the signing… so for the continuing conversation…

JP Owen:        Bummie, I am leaving this headquarter to you… Please take care of it; I have other houses
                       available in Paris…

Kibum:             (sighs) Thanks a lot Papa… (looks at Heechul and Jessica)…Dad and Mom… what do
                        you think?

Heechul:          (gasps) It is so darn enormous but it is fine with me… (looks at Jessica) hon… your
                        mind…

Jessica:           (pouts) aaiishhh… Dad is crazy for building this headquarter… I was so against it… this
                        place sizes that of a city… but I guess it also turned out self-sufficient in a way… I am fine
                        with it… we can stay here…

JP Owen:        (gasps) Then agreed… Thanks a lot Bummie… I know you also own several gorgeous and
                       enormous houses here in Paris…

Jessica:           (gasps) Do you Bummie?

Heechul:          (shock) what the heck Bummie!

JP Owen:        (smiles) Oh my dearest daughter and son… I have a secret to tell you about Bummie’s
                        financial status globally – he’s one of the secret (embracing Bummie and smiles) how will
                        call it? Aaahhh let me quantify it… combining your assets Jessie dear and Heechul plus
                        mine times two or three that is Bummie’s financial scale… and this headquarter… is 
                        nothing compare to his own several secret headquarters… you will be amazed… and I just
                        found it out … how? Slip of his tongue… (pointing at Kibum)…. he he hehe…

Kibum:             (scrunches his face) Oh… Papa… you really are a chatterbox… (smiles sweetly at his
                        parents) Dad and Mom… Papa is just exaggerating and about my houses, give me some
                        time … I will show you what I have… alright? (looks at his grandfather) Thank you for
                        spitting it out so easy like that Papa…

JP Owen:        (smiles sweetly at Kibum) Thanks Bummie… hhmmm… I am not exaggerating sweetie… 
                        thanks to one time you fell asleep while working… I was able to get information of what
                        you do…but apart from what I have discovered … I exactly do not know what other things
                        you are involved with…but I am so proud of you…

I love you sweetie (then out of the blue, he asks) So Bummie… sweetie… at what age do you wish to settle down?
