Donghae had found his old skateboard. A couple of years ago he had been a really good skateboarder but had lost interest and so it had been collecting dust in the basement. He was supposed to take the skateboard to some kid of his mother's friend and he was on his way to do so when he got across a small old skateboard park. It wouldn't hurt to try how much he could still do, right? It was late evening, the sun was setting and the sky was an intense orange color at one end - dark blue at the other.

He went to the park. The ground was lower than the street so there were stairs with a railing leading down to it. He had managed before to slide down a railing on his skateboard so he decided to try that first. He went back a few steps, got on the skateboard and swung his leg, getting a lot of speed before skillfully lifting his skateboard in the right moment to hop onto the railing. But this was all that he was still able to do because in the next moment he fell face-forward towards the stairs. Before he could realize how he hit it, before the pain managed to reach him - he out.

When Donghae woke up again it was pitch dark around him. He was lying on his back at the end of the stairs, a leg lifted up on a few, the skateboard had rolled away. He blinked his eyes open and saw stars sparkling in the sky. Then his head started pounding and his body arching. He groaned quietly as he sat up, causing a strong stinging pain in his head. When he touched it he got a bit of blood onto his fingers but it seemed mostly dry. So the bleeding had probably stopped. He guessed it hadn't been that much anyway. Donghae looked around the empty park. What a damn stupid idea to jump down the railing with a skateboard.

It took him a few more minutes before he carefully stood up and picked up the skateboard again. He would take it to the boy another day. Now he would head home and check his head before his parents returned from their weekend trip.

Tomorrow was monday...
