2nd October 2013, Choi Sooyoung and Jessica Jung were married on that day. They were just a normal couple who fell deeply in love with each other that they decided to get married.

But a year and a half later, Sooyoung had problems with his job which lead the couple to have financial crisis in their life. They had to live in a smaller apartment, always late to pay the bills and taxes and couldn't afford that much food for themselves.

Jessica blamed Sooyoung for all of their unfortunates, this cause the couple to have a huge dispute.

In every couples fighting, you would expect the guy to abuse the girl, however in this couple, Jessica was the one who physically and mentally abused Sooyoung. She would shout hurtful words and slap, punch or throw things at him everyday at home, which made him to get bruises and scratches on his body and he himself have to heal it as he couldn't afford any medical assistance.

He didn't fought back because he felt that he should take all the blame and her actions were punishments for him, for being a terrible husband.

A year later, the couple were still not on good terms and slowly Sooyoung found out from his friends that Jessica was cheating on him with a richer guy. When Sooyoung nicely confronted her about this, he only received even more scars on his body and on his heart.

Everyday Jessica would boast about her rich boyfriend to Sooyoung to hurt him even more and occasionally stay at his place. 

Yet Sooyoung didn't want to divorce with her because a small part of him felt that she still truly love him as before...........
