Kang Seulgi is your local eccentric cartoonist wannabe, who wishes nothing but her parents to give up on forcing her to pursue their dreams; becoming a lawyer at some well known firm, defending the wrong ones and attacking those who are right instead, where she will be cursed with money and no happiness in return. Then, there comes Jeon Wonwoo in the picture, the guy that lives next door, who blasts his hiphop songs every night(resulting Seulgi's unfinished drawings), and sometimes rapping his proclaimed self-written rap pieces.

They were seventeen; passionate, reckless, and full of dreams, not to mention sensitive, short-tempered, with slapstick jokes here and there, unnecessary violence accompanying their days, with curses becoming a common languange in their tongue. Friendships form, enemies clash, and love is found. 

"Jeon Wonwoo, shut your goddamn radio right now!"

"Shut the up Seulgi, today has been for me!"

"......Me too."

"Well..."

"Go to sleep and let me draw in peace, at least for once-"

"No way in hell am I sleeping this early, it's only 6pm. You're nuts,"

"It's not like you will listen to me, anyway. Don't you realize that your presence right now is bothering me?"

Wonwoo turns off his radio and, walks to his window that is facing seulgi's. He peers out from his room, leaning to the window's side.

"There you go again, being sensitive. I feel like such a douche when you begin to speak like that,"

Seulgi continues to draw despite his nagging, her table's right below the window that is opened, right in front of his window. Wonwoo is only faced with her forehead, and her brows that are scrunched into focus.

"Speak to me, Seul,"

"Go bother somebody else, Won. Like Mingyu! He must be watching some random videos in Youtube right now." Seulgi shoos him, giving a slight glance, intending that she is serious with her words. "I'm drawing a submission for a drawing competition right now."

"How come you didn't tell me, Kang Seulgi?! What the-"

She clicks on her tongue, whilst she draws another circle in her paper. "Why would you be mad over this? I told you just now right?"

Wonwoo only scoffs and rolls his eyes. "You wouldn't have told me if I hadn't 'bothered' you, as what you've said earlier. That aside, what will you submit for the compe-"

"It's a caricature of you holding bananas, and wearing banana necklace around your neck-"

"You must be kidding....wait. Don't tell me-" Realization hits him hard, and he flares up, wanting to jump out into her room and wrestle her out.

"So you still keep that picture Mingyu sent to you last year?! Kang Seulgi, you are so dead-"

She only laughs triumphantly, and reaches out to shut her window. Not before sticking out her tongue playfully, as Wonwoo stick out two of his middle fingers. He probably will give another two from his feet if that's possible.

Seulgi walks over her desk to continue her sketches. She frowns upon seeing that none of it satisfies her, and crumple them all and toss it in her waste bin. She might as well draw him for real to trigger some quirky ideas, even though he will probably be too pi-

-let's see how fates will play with them, and wish for nothing but only a youth to be cherished and remembered, to be given to them.

HI GUYSSS, So here I am writing a ship that perhaps, people never realize(I have always liked those type of ships btw). Starring Wonwoo and Seulgi, I found them similar(both in appearance and charisma) and that's why I start this story. This story will have friendship, crack jokes here and there, and romance, of course. Btw. this is an entry for ROOKIE ┊ SVT, Monsta X, UP10TION, Day6 & iKON Writing Contest ┊.
