Produce 101 is a 2016 reality girl group survival show on mnet. 84 members from 14 underrated girl group and girl group that was debuted between 2014-2016. This survival show is for the public to know more about the underrated and new k-pop girl groups.

Every week the public will choose the top 10 members that grab their attention. In the end, the chosen members may be in the brand new group created by the public, with the group's concept, debut song and group name chosen by them too. This is very new as some members from their original group may be taken away.
