That’s the number of people that live in my town.

It’s so small that the schools don’t even have names.

With roughly 200 in elementary, 200 in middle school, 200 in high school and 200 in university, I guess you can say we’re pretty much in equilibrium.

It’s been centuries since the supernatural and mundanes have started living amongst each other.

They respect each other, but still keep to themselves.

Even if you don’t know one another, you still know each other.

Which is why a pack of seven mysterious but absolutely stunning werewolves have us in shock when they decide to move into this tiny town.

And one of them just so happens to be my mate.

This story is inspired by the book series, “House of Night”, which I finished reading a long time ago and wanted to base a story off of, but am FINALLY getting around to writing.

Emphasis on the “INSPIRED”. Everything going on in this story are ideas of my own. Therefore, please to not copy my ideas and call them your own.

“Seriously, what are you? Would you be considered a nymph or a mundane?” Sojung asked, causing her posse of friends to cackle in laughter.

“She’s a mumph! Get it? A mundane and nymph mixed together!” Jina retorted, causing another round of laughter.

Nayeon smiled weakly in response as she picked up the books that had fallen out of her arms when Jungin had bumped into her earlier.

As she began to stand back up, a foot pushed her with enough strength to knock her over onto her side, right against the bookshelf.

Nayeon cried out in pain but quickly scrambled to stand back up.

“Look at her, she knows how to stand up now!” Sojung wiped away tears of laughter and picked up a book.

“‘The Anatomy of the Human Body?’ Are you actually studying to become a doctor? I thought that was a joke!” Jungin exclaimed, peering over Sojung’s shoulder.

Sojung smirked as her eyes flashed gold. “Heads up!”

Nayeon, expecting the thick textbook to come into contact with her head, covered herself with her arms and waited.

But it never happened.

A growl came from behind Nayeon, causing the three girls to gasp loudly and when Nayeon peeked to see what was going on, was met with an arm outstretched in front of her face, holding the textbook nearly inches from her nose.

She whirled around to have her nose once again coming inches from something but this time, someone’s broad chest.

Slowly lifting her head, she came face to face with one of the newer werewolves, but found that she couldn’t look away.

Neither could the boy as his pulse, already beating faster than a normal mundane, started to beat faster.

Mate! It barked, as his inner wolf jumped and panted with excitement, more than it had ever before.
