Fertile Affections

Description

There are 15 packs in korea, 5 of them living in the outskirts of Seoul. After years of fighting they have all been united by one issue affecting them all. For over four years, not one of the omegas in the packs have gone through heat. Omegas are only fertile during their heat and so for over four years not one of the packs had had any pup. Omegas are almost exclusively female. Male omegas are incrediblely rare with an average of about one omega every two to three generations across all the packs. Because of this male omegas have never mated with each other... until now. Two moons pack and Grey-Back each have one omega, both of them in the same generation, born two heat cycles apart. As elders in all the packs work together to find a solution to this sudden infertitlity crisis, Kyungsoo and Tao may hold the solution to the problem. The complication... They already have mates.

Foreword

1 + 1 = 1 simple (though not conventional) maths that has ensured the survival of wolf packs in Korea for thousands of years.

Until now...

For four years a wave of infertility has struck the packs and pack elders have set aside their differences to collectively investigate this issue. At the heart of this mystery is another unusual occurance; with the rarity of male omegas there have never been more than one in any one generation across all of Korea until now. Kyungsoo and Tao are both omegas, Kyungsoo in the Two Moons pack and Tao in the Grey-Back pack. Born two heat cycles apart they introduced a strange new possibility to the packs, the possibilty of two omegas mating. There is only one problem...

Both Kyungsoo and Tao are already mated. Kyungsoo to Two Moons' alpha Kai and Tao to Grey-Back's alpha Kris.

A summit brings all the alphas in Korea to Soeul in order to discuss the infertility problem. In usual alpha fashion the alphas travel with their betas and their omegas. With a weekend long summit of under fifty people, its no surprise that Tao and Kyungsoo meet. But when their meeting introduces a possible solution to the fertility problem what cosequences will this have on them and their two packs.
