The one fib Kyuhyun never attempted to correct was that his gaming friends, and all their family's friends for that matter, thought he studied at the MIT - of course, the snarky maknae thought, there is a world of difference between outright lying versus propagating a misconception because he is technically studying at MIT.

A/N: STILL A WIP - just putting it out here, in memory of Alan Rickman - the actor behind the professor we all loved to hate, Professor Severus Snape. He will be missed, but like the character he played, forever remembered.

This was originally called Maester's Institute of Thaumaturgy when a quick google confirmed that Maester is exclusively (?) used in the Game of Thrones universe so I decided to use the more common term meister since this is nothing GoT-ish. Because yes, this is intended to be set as an HP AU (or somewhere to the left - ok, a slightly skewed parallel universe because I really don't want to infringe copyrights using HP) but in a school for higher magical learning.

The story originally was supposed to be an exclusively EunHae story but then I got down to drafting how the rest of the 15 Super Junior members will have a role in this and what they are studying about (complete with curricula per specialty - whut) then I realized they had to have a bigger part in this... will make it easy to be writing mini SJ stories in this universe because, well, I should. :P I was also laughing when SJ's Magic album came out and then I dug out this story from my drafts which folder I had actually named SuJu Magic AU :))) Even toyed with the idea of just titling it Magic, but no.

So here we are.
