Everything about Sungjong’s relationship with Howon were too good to be true. Having been abused by his own biological mother and step father for being an omega, Howon’s existence in Sungjong’s life was like the light for him. The older male treated him as if he was a precious diamond and their love for each other was strong. Howon loved him more than anything--- at least that’s what Sungjong believed.

Which was why, Howon leaving him was the last thing he ever expected to happen. Not after everything that they had gone through together. Not after they formed a soulbond as mates. But Howon never once responded to him, and he had no other choice but to give up and live his life as if nothing ever happened, as if he never believed the existence of the invisible red thread, as if Howon and him were not mates.

And now, it had been 2 years since Howon was gone. Sungjong had gradually accepted the fact that Howon was gone just like that. Sungjong's status as a busy scholarship student helped him a lot to distract his mind from Howon.

But being distracted did not mean to forget. Although Sungjong had been living his life as if nothing had happened, it did not change the fact that he and Howon were mates with a soulbond connecting the two of them. Deep inside, Sungjong wished that someday Howon would wake up and remember him, remember the bond they shared, remember that he had a mate whom he abandoned, and maybe, maybe he would come back to him.

Hojong and Sujeong x Myungeun are the main pairings for this story, but you will also find other Infinite and Lovelyz pairings here. Although Hojong is the main focus of this fanfic, it's probably going to take a long time for an actual Hojong interaction to happen in the story.
