As we all know, the entertainment industry is anything but prime and proper. Behind the makeup and glitter, there is more than meets the eyes. What we see on the news channels is only scraping the surface of this supposedly pretty world. Though it is not to our knowledge, some celebrities hide their mental illnesses, taboo relationships, or perhaps their experiences with hardcore drugs.

 

Moving on, we come across a case in which the dark parts of the industry have been exposed. In 2013, a girl group called PHOENIX debuted under Jellyfish Entertainment. Consisting of four unique members, they had a refreshingly new style. With self-composed songs, stunning charisma, and funky dance moves, they gained attention from the industry. Much to everyone's surprise, one of the members got into a drug scandal, causing the girl group to sink within the year of their creation. Though it was never officially announced, the girl group disbanded in late 2013.

 

 In 2015, Jellyfish Entertainment decided to give the remaining three girls another shot at the industry as they did nothing wrong in the eyes of the media. They redebuted under the name of MELODY with three former members of PHOENIX as well as three idols who were completely new to the industry.
