She never could give a proper answer to that simple question. It seemed to her like her feelings were always there. She loved him as a teenage girl would love her favourite idol. Loved as an adult would love her Running Man co-star. Loved as a friend would love an other friend. And now... Now she loves him as a woman would love a man.
Jong Kook was never just any other man in her eyes.
He was the always strongest commander. The partner every female and male guests want to be in their team. Sparta Kook everyone fears. The bossy coach that constantly nags his team members if they do something wrong, even his hyungs who he won’t even get himself to call "hyung". But he is also the one who praise people the first when they succeed. The one who rush at people's aid when something happens. The one who is such a sweetheart off-camera. Well, everyone is kinder behind the scenes, but he… he is a gentleman.
Ji Hyo didn’t know which Jong Kook she loved the most. Probably all of the above. The bossy commander was just a role, but it was also Jong Kook in a way. Sparta Kook represented the steadiness in life she longed for. Kookie's kindness towards his dongsaengs and female guests is something she want to experience herself. Even if it's only for an hour. Or a minute. She wants to know what does it feels like being treated so well by him, what does it feel to make him blush. And there is Kim Jong Kook. Not the charismatic ex-idol, not the charming ballad singer, not the variety emcee, just himself. A man who loves wholeheartedly, who cares about his family anf friends way more than he cares about himself.
She loves and understands him so much, that she knows that he will never be hers. But she never felt sadness or regret because of that.
Because there was always another Monday to see his kind smile. It wasn’t too much, but enough for her. It has been always like that.
Until one day everybody found out about her secret and her perfect little world turned up-side down...

Hi, it's Hyo-Lyn back with a Running Man fanfiction this time. Since I ship SpartAce very much, I just couldn't resist, I had to write a story myself. Since I'm not finished with my exams yet, I don't want to start uploading chapters until then, but after that hopefully I can. :)
