Hayaley Sung/Sung Hyun Jin is headstrong and independent. She grew up mostly in the States. Even though her father is Korean, she never had the desire nor reason to move to Korea. A series of unforeseen circumstances will bring her to Seoul. When she comes face to face with Kim Jae Joong, she realizes it’s not so easy to hold on to her aversion of dating celebrities.

Kim Jae Joong is a famous celebrity and leader of the Korean pop group JYJ. He takes his musical career seriously and is the epitome of professionalism. With the exception of his fellow group members, Yoo Chun and Jun Su, and his manager, Ahn-Jjang, he keeps his work and personal life separate. Hayaley Sung will walk into his life and challenge this principle he has successfully held on to for 10 years.

Can two people so bend on following their principles be able to hear what their beating hearts is telling them? And even if they were to listen to their hearts, would the world they live in eventually tear them apart?

This story is set during the few months before Kim Jae Joong's military enlistment and based on some real events. Hayaley is a character I had created for other stories and also my favorite. Much research has gone into this story because I was not as familiar with JYJ when I first started the story and the story followed the course of real events. I hope you will enjoy reading this story and feedback is always appreciated.
