Gongchan's Past with Hanuel

Gongchan's POV(Past)

I was walking in the street, nothing to do, and there I saw her in the store. She was wearing red and white t-shirt and pants, her hair is clipped in the side, she was very attractive. I was watching her, across the street. She was picking dolls, but coudn't decide what to buy. I decided to help her, so I crossed the street and entered the shop just to help her.

"Umm, Can I help you choose?" I said with little confidence. She turns around and smiled at me.

"Yes, you can help me~ Which do you think is cute, this rabbit or this fox, or this wolf, or this turtle?" She looked each of it, and ruffled her hair. *So cute*

"I think all of it is cute. What are you going to do with it, anyway?" I asked her

"Well, I don't have anyone to talk to when I'm alone in the house, so I thought of buying some dolls to talk with." She said shyly

"Well, you can talk to me." *Wow did I just say that?*

"Hahaha, yeah, I guess so, come on I'll treat you, since you help me choose. I'll just pay it on the counter, okay? Wait for me"  She said with a smile and went to the counter. *What is this feeling? My heart is beating fast, does that mean I'm in love with her?*

"Come on......What's your name?" She asked me

"Shik Gongchan, you can call me Gongchan, if you like." I replied

"Okay then, Where do you want to eat Gongchan?" She said as she carry all the bags

"Let me hold that for you. Well, let's go on that one." I pointed at the classic restaurant. She chuckled, and pulled me there.

 We ordered kimchi,spicy ramen, and some drinks. We talked about our life, and had fun with the rest day.

"Umm, I never knew your name." I said as I dropped her in the house

"My name is Song Hanuel" She said with a smile on her face

"Can I know your number?" I asked shyly

"Sure, why not?" She took out her phone, then she paused for a bit. I think she was about to cry, since her eyes is getting watery.

"Umm, are you okay? It's okay if-" She cut me off

"No, it's okay. I just remembered someone." We exchanged numbers. She gave me a hug and went inside. I went back to the house, thinking what to do. And I decided to text her instead.

"Hanuel, what are you doing today?"

"Well, I'm talking with my dolls, and texting with you."

"Umm, can we meet tom.?"

"You know you remind me of him. He also texted me if I want to go out with him.But it was a long time ago. Sure, so where will we meet?"

*I wonder who's that?*

"At the restaurant where we just ate awhile ago."

"Okay, let's meet there at 2 pm, okay?"

"Okay, then. See you tom."

"See you there. Goodnight Gongchan"

I was happy that I was able to text with Hanuel, but something is bothering me. Who was the guy with Hanuel before? But it doesn't matter, I'm going to meet Hanuel tom. I better sleep now.

I was late, because I have to help umma with her cookies. I ran to the restaurant from the house, I arrived there about 2: 30, and quickly searched for Hanuel. I saw her at the table near the window, sipping her coffee. I went towards her, and apologized for being late.

"MIanhae Hanuel, I have to help umma with her cookies. Mianhae" I said as I catch my breath

"It's okay Gongchan, I was here about 15 min. ago anyways. Well, shall we eat first?" She said as she pat the table. I sat down and we ordered what we ate yesterday, but today its with ice cream.

We went on many stores and i bought everything she looks at, even though she doesn't want me to, and she insists that she will pay it, but I insist that I will be the one to pay, instead. We look like a child, don't we? We often go out, and went on diff, stores in diff. districts. And each day, my feelings for her grew stronger. And I confessed to her one day ....

"Hanuel I want to tell you something.....Can you hear me out?" I said while looking at her

"Hmmm, sure why not?" She said as she lick her ice cream

"When I first saw you, I fell in love you. Hanuel, I love you. Will you please be my girlfriend?" I said shyly and I do know that I'm blushing becuase told my confession to her. She smiled and nodded.

"I also love you Gongchan. I will be your girlfriend" She hugged me tight and I hugged her back.We spent our times together happily.

We dated for about 7 months, and I never knew that on that day, it would be the end of it all.

"Wha.....What are you saying Hanuel?' I shaked her shoulders

"I'm sorry Gongchan, I can't be with you anymore.....I'm really sorry.." She said while crying

"But why? Tell me...We've been together for 7 months Hanuel, our love for each other is strong. So why?" I said to her while I shake her once again

"I..I...Please, Gongchan just break up with me" She said as she put her hands in her face

"What?! Why would I do that? i love you Hanuel, why would you tell me to break up with you, or is it, that you don't love me anymore? Look at me Hanuel and tell me. Do you love me or not?" I looked at her

"I...I...." She pushed me away and wiped her tears "I'm sorry Gongchan, I..I..don't love you anymore." She said as tears formed in her eyes, and she ran away.And I never saw her again, and I felt my life is in the end. I returned home crying in my room. I locked myself in my room for several days. And one day I coudn't hold my pain anymore, so I decided to kill myself instead. It was evening, I went to a tree near the park. I brought a rope and was getting ready to hang myself, when I heard a beep in my phone.

"Gongchan, I heard from your mom, that you have been in your room for several days.

Please don't lock yourself in your room just because of me. I didn't want to break up with you, it's just that, I don't have any feeling for you anymore.

Please don't ruin your life because  of me. Jebal!

And if you ever feel of killing yourself, please don't do it. Your family won't be happy and I won't be happy because of it.

Gongchan, live the world without me. There are other girls out there. I'm just not the right person to be your girlfriend.

So please forgive me. But I want thank you for the days we've spent together. I really had fun together with you.

So, start a new life, Gongchan. And remember I will always be right beside you."

I cried with what she said in her text, and I kept rereading it. I went back to the house, leaving the rope in the park. My mom was in the living room, crying in Appa's arm. She looked at me and hugged me tightly. I cried in my mother's arm a lot. And the next day, I started a new life without Hanuel, but even though there are times that I miss her, and cried because of it. I know that she won't come back in my life again. But I do know that I still love her even though she left me.

No One's POV

"I'm proud of you Gongchan" Yeoleum said as she passed the napkin to Gongchan who was crying while telling his story.

"Haha, thanks Yeoleum. Cnu hyung is next right?" Gongchan said while wiping his tears.

"Yeah, I guess so." Cnu said with a big sigh.
