Description
Kim Haesoo is the perfect friend. She's loud, she's crazy, she has a hot temper and she laughs at EVERYTHING, including your dullest jokes. She's that friend who would add colours to your life like never before. She's also that friend who would get heads to turn NOT because she's pretty, NOT because she's hot, but because she's just borderline weird and EVERYONE just wants to figure out one thing, really.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER?
But she can also be the sweetest friend ever when in the presence of Jung Chanwoo.
Kim Haesoo is Jung Chanwoo's consort, like a sidekick, a follower, a stalker, or also known as, the ever-worried best friend.
Through the years, the hot-headed girl has ever only displayed obedience to one person, Chanwoo. Every decision of his comes with the voice of support - her loud, booming voice. She supported him when he decided to stop drinking milk from the bottle when they were in elementary, she supported him when he began his acting career as a child, she supported him when he dated horrible, terrible, nightmare-giving Song Shiyoon in middle school, and she supported him also (with reluctance) when he wanted to embark on the idol life in South Korea, leaving her to deal with high school on her own.
Jung Chanwoo was her treasure and she protected him like he was her own brother. She was "patient, soft-spoken and talented"-Chanwoo's counterpart.
The pair grew up together and have simply been inseparable through the years.
However, as if the trainee programme hadn't stolen enough of their time for interaction, when news about Chanwoo joining the special Mix&Match programme came about, Haesoo suddenly feels like their friendship was slowly coming to a scary end. Not only that, Haesoo is stressed out by the mere thought that her best friend was a potential idol group bully victim. Her distaste for iKON is prominent and blatant, most of it directed at the leader B.I. Her worry metre relentlessly climbed higher with every day that passed.
As things continue to spiral downhill for the two of them and their relationship is left at stake, a rare opportunity to join YG with Chanwoo comes knocking on the door. Haesoo not only discovered hope in saving their friendship but reawakened the long lost dream she once had. With her passion reignited, Haesoo has to battle her suppressed fears from the past while learning to deal with the reality of her relationship with Chanwoo, that he simply didn't need her protection anymore.

I'm not here to hate on iKON nor am I trying to add on to the rumours that Chanwoo is being bullied.
The rumours merely sparked a story in my imagination that if our lovely Chanwoo had a best friend who would jump to believe the rumours and form her own conclusions, I wondered how she'd react when she saw the scary reality we saw in Mix&Match. You'll see for yourself that this isn't some hate fic if you read it for yourself. Rather, it is another work of fiction inspired by real-life circumstances and more a development on the character I have created. I personally by no means believe the rumours to be as extreme as I might make Kim Haesoo intepret it. But, lol we never know.
