Creating riots.
To create quiet.
The armies in my head;
Making war again.
Their swords are clashing,
Nightmares dashing,
Dreams are crashing,
Burning,
Drowning,
Fighting,
Soaring,
Flying,
Trying...
Dying.
Ashes on the ground;
Scattered all around.
Hoping, yearning,
Desires;
Burning,
Fading.
Skip stones,
Float across the wind,
Fly across the keys,
To calmer oceans
Where you won’t be broken.
Dust upon the ground,
Never to be found.
Darkness, harshness,
Knives and pens,
Locked chests,
Boxes.
Emptiness swallows up the light
Forever echoes the darkness left behind.
