Many years have passed since Voldemort, the darkest wizard of all time, had been defeated at the hands of Harry Potter; the boy who had lived. The historical duel had left the magical world in distress; great people had been killed, and Hogwarts -the once great castle- had been left in ruins.

It had been a dark era, the rebuilding of their society had been a long and tiring process; but where there is life, there is hope. Somehow they had managed to survive. The ministry was restored, Azkaban was reinstated, and the remaining death eaters (the last reminders of the dark lord) were locked away for good. Hogwarts was rebuilt, the new castle stood tall. Built from the ashes, the blood and tears that had been spilt on its grounds on that fateful night.

The houses were reestablished, professors rehired, the new letters were sent out as a new generation of witches and wizards set out on the steep path towards their destinies…
