Summary: Shirika and Shota, a couple living in the late 1890s. Shirika was a daughter of the retired famous history teacher in the village. Schools and Education were scarce in this village off the north of Japan. Shirika’s father was Canadian, he and Shirika traveled all the across the Atlantic Ocean just to come to Japan and give Education to the kids and do business. Shota was a son of a librarian and a carpenter, he followed his father’s career of being a carpenter but he would help his mother whenever he can. He met Shirika in the local library while he was helping his mother and she stunned him immediately. Later on, he found out that she was a hybrid of a Japanese maiden and a Canadian teacher. Their love started to bloom. But Shota disappeared on a winter day, leaving Shirika nothing but a bunch of wooden dolls with no clue on where he went. Then the adventure started…
